Ben Affleck would like to thank all of the “amazing moms” in his life, including his own mother, and his wife, Jennifer Garner.

The actor posted a video on his Facebook page sharing a special Mother’s day message, which was dedicated to his wife.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing Moms in my life,” Affleck wrote. “Please share this video for the Mothers and Grandmothers in your lives in honor of their sacrifices, selflessness and courage.”

The video, which was shot during Affleck’s recent trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo, featured footage of moms and children in the Congo.

The 39-year-old thesp founded the Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI) in 2009, which focuses on helping the residents of eastern Congo develop community-based, local approaches to create a sustainable society.

“I want to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in my life–my mom, Chris, and my amazing wife, Jennifer, who is an incredible, spectacular, world-class mom, and I want to thank her,” Affleck said in the video.

“And I want to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms I’ve met in the Democratic Republic of Congo who are on this video that I hope you watch,” he continued. “I urge you to share it, to post it to Facebook, to celebrate all the moms in the world, including the ones in your life, as well as those out there in the world working at the very hardest job there is every single day.”

Affleck and Garner have three children together, Violet, 6 Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, 3, and Samuel Garner, 2 ½ months.

They are so cute! Love them!

Jennifer Garner made her first post-baby appearance last night at Cinemacon in Las Vegas. Jennifer was on hand to promote her new movie, ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green”. Garner also received the award for “Female Star of the Year”.

Timothy Green is about a childless couple who find a magical child growing in their garden after planting a box full of wishes. Looks like a cute family movie.

Jennifer gave birth to son Samuel just two months ago. She looks great! I love the Dolce & Gabbana dress she’s wearing (even though I wish it were a bit longer).

Jennifer is looking pretty amazing for 40! She turned the big 4-0 on April 17th. Happy birthday Jen!

Jennifer Garner’s next big film role is quite a departure for the star!

Life & Style has learned that Jennifer will be trading stilettos for loafers to play a guy in the comedy Johnson.

“Her character is a corporate executive who gets fired but gets her job back after she disguises herself as a man,” an industry insider tells Life & Style. “Jen will play Rebecca Merritt, who becomes Greg Johnson.”

And just to complicate matters? Greg falls for a male co-worker!

While there’s no release date just yet, an insider says shooting will start by early fall.

Samuel Garner Affleck!

It’s kind of a breath of fresh air, a normal celebrity name. Nothing hokey, nothing stupid. Samuel. Good strong name!

“We are happy to announce that on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck,” Affleck posted on his official Facebook page this morning.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have welcomed a new addition to their family, a baby boy!!

The baby, whose name has not been revealed, joins big sisters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3.

Garner and Affleck are one of my favorite Hollywood couples. They announced their pregnancy back in August, announcing they were “thrilled” to have another baby.

The couple decided not to find out the sex of the baby ahead of time, or at least decided not to make it public, but Garner dished to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about the possibility of having a baby boy in September.

“It would be so weird to have a boy,” Garner told DeGeneres, and said her daughters had already picked out a name for the baby if it was girl.

“Daisy Duck Affleck,” Garner said. “I can see us going that way.”

So cool… congrats!!
