Britney Spears‘ rep is calling Eve‘s bluff!

Earlier, rapper/singer Eve insinuated that Britney didn’t sing on her new release, “Scream & Shout.” Jeff Raymond, Brit Brit’s publicist, tells TMZ, “It’s absolute BS.  Britney sang the song.  Will.i.am wanted her for this song and she sang on it.”

Well, that’s kinda what we thought, right? Seems simple…and yet…

Eve went on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” and said, “I heard that might not be Britney,” when they were talking about the new single,  though a source from the actual recording session has some words!  He said:

Was Eve even in Studio.  Didn’t know.  She’s clearly jealous.  I didn’t even know she still sings.”

Snap. I know lots of engineering goes into this stuff, but it seems like it’s in baaad form to call out another singer on whether they sing or not, right?

While most people will be relaxing, eating and generally celebrating this holiday season, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have bigger fish to fry…

Spears and her fiance/conservator are spending the next few weeks planning damage control and deciding if they are going to officially call it quits in the new year on their three-year plus relationship.

“It’s a make or break holiday for Britney and Jason,” a source close to the singer tells RadarOnline. “Things have been getting worse and worse with their relationship for several months now, and they know they have to figure things out once and for all because they can’t keep going on like this.”

Yikes.  Since Jason sees Brit Brit on The X Factor (he’s a producer) and at home, AND he’s her conservator, it’s not just a simple romantic entanglement, but so much more.

“If they do decide to call off the engagement for good, things are going to be tricky, legally and financially, so it isn’t just the state of their relationship they have to think about,” the source says. “If there wasn’t those considerations involved they would of split a while ago.”

“Britney and Jason have been sleeping in separate bedrooms for a very long time,” another source previously revealed to Radar. “She has been staying in a hotel during the week because of the live X Factor shows, and although Jason stays at the same hotel, he is in a room adjacent to hers.

“Jason feels like he is Britney’s babysitter and it’s pretty much just a business arrangement at this point. Jason does love Britney and the boys, but he just can’t see himself spending the rest of his life with her.”

Oy, how hard would it be to be in a relationship that’s like babysitting?  I think these two should break it off. Thoughts?

In the newest issue of Lucky magazine,  Britney Spears makes herself out to be a normal lady and a pretty low-key mom!

On her relationship with her kids: “They try to figure out where I go when I go to film X Factor. They’re like, ‘Mommy’s going off to be a superhero.’ And then I get back, and they just see me as Mommy,” Spears, 30, tells Lucky magazine in its December cover story of her boys Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6. “And then when I’m back working on the show, they say, ‘Oh, Mommy’s a superhero again!’ ”

What sets Fiance Jason Trawick apart from the other men she’s dated: “He was sweet … he says he doesn’t mind that I sit around in sweats all the time.”

What she does on her down time: “I work out. I swim. I play with the kids, I cook and I garden. We play Connect Four. We play Candy Land.”

Does this seem strange to anyone else?

Britney Spears‘ father, Jamie, is no longer her conservator. The judge in her case just signed off to give her fiance, Jason Trawick, legal power to govern Britney’s affairs.

TMZ broke the story … Britney’s dad and conservator Jamie Spears filed the petition earlier this month, asking the court to add Jason as a co-conservator. We’re told Britney also wanted Jason on board as co-conservator.

After the hearing, we overhead the lawyers say Jamie is “thrilled.”

The move makes total sense … considering the two are set to be married.

As co-conservator, Jason is now empowered to help decide how Britney will earn and spend her money — including the $15 million deal she’s about to sign with “X Factor.”

It’s so strange to me – this conservator business. Even more strange that now her future husband has power to “govern” her affairs.

Makes sense, seeing as Jason Trawick and Britney Spears are going to be married soon!

The judge in Ms. Spears’ conservatorship case just signed off on Trawick having legal power to govern Britney’s affairs.  As co-conservator, Jason is now empowered to help decide how Britney will earn and spend her money, along with Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears.

This is big, as Brit Brit is in the middle of a 15 million dollar deal to judge on The X Factor!

She’s already been married twice, but is Britney Spears ready to become a bride once more for love Jason Trawick?

As she enjoys blockbuster sales and the strongest reviews of her career for seventh studio album Femme Fatale, Spears, 29, tells all in the new Us Weekly (out Wednesday) about finding Mr. Right in agent Trawick, 39, her boyfriend of over two years.

“We have such a great time together!” Spears tells Us exclusively. “He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves.”

Marriage plans? “Maybe,” she teases. “Never say never!”

Indeed, a family source tells Us that the blissful pair will likely wed. Trawick, after all, the source says, “was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything,” including Spears’ dark 2007 and early 2008 — when she lost custody of her sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4, to ex Kevin Federline, and was briefly admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

“[Jason] was someone she felt she could be her true self with. [Marriage] is what they talk about and the direction they’re going in,” the insider says.

Whatever and whenever their nuptial plans, one thing is certain, Spears tells Us: “I’ve never been happier!”
