Ethan Hawke was the guest on an episode of Watch What Happens Live two nights ago and had definitely had a couple drinks!
Why? because when he talked to host Andy Cohen (who has been known to get a little boozy on this celeb staple show), he got reallll into talking about his onscreen kis will actress Angelina Jolie!
Okay, let me backtrack. was asked for his “best onscreen kiss” from Cohen, Ethan replied, “With all due respect – the woman has been in the press a lot lately – but my best onscreen kiss was with Angelina Jolie… Why is Amadeus, Wolfgang Mozart a genius? Angelina Jolie was born to whittle men, to make them weak. And when she kisses you, you don’t know your name.”
DANG! Pretty solid endorsement from Hawke, especially since later he essentially said his hottest hookups were from non-famous people:
The facts are the more hot, they are the more acclaimed they are for being hot… the less hot they are. So the hottest chick I’ve ever been with on-screen was not anybody anyone has ever heard of. I wish this weren’t true, but let’s face it – I had a good few years. But the most wonderful experiences didn’t happen with anyone you have ever heard of.”
As you may or may not know, Jolie and Hawke may have had an affair while working together on the film Taking Lives (there were lots of rumors about it), but nothing was confirmed! Eek! Love it! Watch the whole interview HERE!

Paul Anka has a score to settle with Jay-Z!
According to TMZ:
Anka was outside Madeo restaurant in L.A. last night, when we asked about his upcoming album “Duets” — which features collaborations with legends like Willie Nelson, Gloria Estefan and Dolly Parton.
But you know who isn’t on the album? Jigga … because according to Anka, Mr. Knowles didn’t have the common courtesy to return a simple phone call!!!
Anka says he feels completely disrespected — and says Jay acted “inappropriately” towards him … especially since Jay once sampled Anka’s biggest hit “My Way” on a rap song.
Now, Anka is escalating his anger into a full on war of the music titans — and even took a shot back at Jay-Z.
So wait- did Jay disrespect Anka by not returning his call to be on the album? Or because he snubbed him socially? I’m not entirely sure what this article is talking about, but I do know that these two music giants should NOT be messed with (by each other or anyone else) who knows where this feud is going to go?
If you had to pick sides, who would you choose? And check out the video clip of Anka at Madeo HERE!

Wanna know what and caused a panicked Anne Hathaway to ditch her planned Valentino gown in favor of a Prada creation at the Oscars? Here ya go…
An insider close to the situation tells Us Hathaway learned during an Oscar rehearsal that costar Amanda Seyfried planned to wear a dress notably similar to hers to the ceremony. After Hathaway asked about her pal’s dress, Seyfried graciously shared an iPhone snap of the Alexander McQueen creation.
“Anne was like ‘WTF?!’” the source reports. “She started throwing a fit!” The 30-year-old Best Supporting Actress victor, however, “never told Amanda she had to change the dress.” Still, Seyfried, 27, was ruffled by Hathaway’s tirade. “Amanda didn’t want to deal with it and left” the rehearsal, the source notes.
But, the drama continues…”Anne made the fashion, make up, hair, and jewelry teams wait at her home for hours as she decided what to do about the dress debacle,” a second insider tells Us. The star also “asked for silence so she could rehearse her singing for the Les Mis tribute at the Oscars. It was a painfully long experience.”
Oh my goodness. Anne isn’t winning any more fans this way, is she?

Every year, the Oscar SWAG bags are grandiose, indulgent and downright fun. This year, however, it seems as though the contents are especially weird!
The Freebies going home with all of this year’s nominees is valued at a whopping $45,000. Included are the glamorous luxuries one would presume Hollywood’s A-list would covet: $10,000 trips to Australia, skincare products worth hundreds of dollars each, $625 private training sessions, and gourmet chocolates. And, condoms. Yep, condoms!
Mixed in with all of the high-end swag are a slew of utterly bizarre knick-knacks, services, and even cleaning products. Among the weirdest, according to Daily Beast:
-Take 2: Your Guide to Happy Endings and New Beginnings by Leeza Gibbons, a book about “starting over; taking inventory, and getting smarter, stronger, and sexier with no apologies, no regrets and no turning back.” ($24.00)
-A six-pack box of Naked brand condoms ($20.00)
-Maple syrup, from Rouge Maple Gourmet Products ($120.00)
-Portion-control dinnerware by Slimware: “Portion consciousness is disguised in the design.” $59.00
-A Vampire Facelift, a cosmetic procedure that involves re-injecting gel-like substances from the patient’s blood back into the skin of their face to treat wrinkles. ($5,000.00)
-Tickets to the circus, to see “North America’s only all-kid troupe.” ($400)
-Hair ties. But they double as bracelets! ($80.00)
-A lint roller by Gleener, called The Ultimate Fuzz Remover ($19.99)
-Windex touch-up cleaner ($3.99)
That’s not to mention the swanky sweatshirts, emblazoned with the Oscar logo, the contenders were all handed at this year’s Nominees Luncheon.
Man, what I would do for one of those gift bags! I mean, I’m low on Windex, SO….

Woah, I love when people criticize American institutions like The Oscars…especially people who are FAMOUS!
Before Midnight star Ethan Hawke recently expressed his distaste for the way movies are evaluated in America, and called box office gross reports and movie award shows “asinine” and “destructive!” Says the actor:
“People want to turn everything in this country into a competition… [so] it’s clear who the winner is and who the loser is. It’s why they like to announce the grosses of movies, because it’s a way of saying, ‘This one is No. 1.’ It’s so asinine… if you look at how many forgettable, stupid movies have won Oscars and how many mediocre performers have Oscars above their fireplace. Making a priority of chasing these fake carrots and money and dubious accolades, I think it’s really destructive.”
Well said, Ethan! I completely agree. So much money goes into these ceremonies which really don’t have a huge bearing on a film’s merit or quality. We’re glad Hawke has the guts to say something!
How do YOU feel about the Oscars? Do you agree with Hawke?
