Bobby Brown claims he never did drugs until he met Whitney Houston in new interview.

Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston may no longer have been a couple when she died in February, but as he told TODAY’s Matt Lauer in an interview that aired Wednesday morning — his first interview since her death — he still misses her fiercely.

“Our relationship was great,” he said. “I had 14 beautiful, beautiful years with that woman.”

And it’s not just his revisionist history, he insisted: “I can honestly say that — I love that woman with — with everything that I am. And I believe she loved me the same way.”

Still, Whitney and Bobby’s relationship was, almost from the start, filled with conflict of one kind or the other. Brown says he never used hard drugs before meeting Houston, and said that she had used drugs before they were involved. “I worried about it when … we first got together until I tried it,” he said. “And when I tried it, for some reason, I have an addictive personality.”

Whitney Houston’s will revealed: Bobbi Kristina gets everything!

Yesterday the contents of Whitney Houston’s will was revealed, and everything is going to the late singer’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

The 19-year-old is the sole beneficiary of Whitney’s estate, which has been placed in a trust. Bobbi will receive three payments, at the ages 21, 25 and 30.

Whitney passed away on February 11 at the age of 48. She set up the will in 1993, a month before Bobbi was born.

While Bobbi Kristina is not named the singer stipulated that ‘any child of mine who survives’ her will receive all furniture, clothing, personal effects. jewellery and cars, as well as the balance of the estate.

As well as staggering access to the trust Whitney also stipulated that her trustees can release funds to Bobbi Kristina depending upon the circumstances and it is up to the trustees to allow to release the funds or not.

Presumably these would include if the teenager wanted to start a business, or pay for college.

It will no doubt come as a relief to the family that even though Whitney’s former husband Bobby Brown is named in the will – he will not receive anything.

According to BANG Showbiz, Whitney’s mother Patricia “Cissy” Houston is the executor of the will and her brother and sister-in-law are trustees.

Whitney and Bobby Brown were marked for 14 years, but Whitney signed a prenuptial agreement before they tied the knot in 1992, which banned Bobby from accessing her will.

The prenup stated: ‘Houston shall have the right to dispose of her Separate Property by Last Will and Testament in such manner as she may, in her own uncontrolled discretion deem proper.

‘All future earnings, income, and accumulations resulting from each of the party’s respective personal activities, skills, efforts and work (including but not limited to each party’s respective earnings, income and accumulations derived from recording contracts, movie contracts, other media contracts, concert tours, endorsements, personal appearances….shall remain separate.’
While Bobbi Kristina will inherit her mother’s estate her family are hoping she doesn’t inherit Whitney Houston’s fame.

The family of the singer, who passed away last month, reportedly want the 19-year-old out of the ‘limelight’.

A source told People magazine: ‘There is still no resolution and there has been nothing concrete on the cause of death, and they were hoping for that.’

‘There were members of the family who weren’t keen on [the interview] going down at this time.

‘There are people who just want her to stay out of the limelight for a while. This is a little girl who just needs some time.’

This is as it should be! Hopefully Bobbi is doing better these days, and will spend the money wisely.

Whitney Houston laid to rest on Sunday – all the details

Whitney Houston was laid to rest Sunday at a private ceremony in New Jersey, her home state. The ceremony took place at a church in Newark where she sang as a little girl. While the family opted for a private funeral, they did allow media cameras to film it – meaning it was broadcast on channels like CNN.

Whintey’s family, friends and costars attended the funeral to celebrate her career, and mourn the loss of such an amazing talent. She was remembered by people like Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Clive Davis and Kevin Costner.

After the ceremony, her body was taken to a nearby cemetery, where she would be laid to rest next to her father, who died in 2003. Fans gathered near the funeral home, and slowly ran alongsie the hearse as it journeyed to Houston’s gravesite.

Here is more of what happened on Sunday:

Bobbi Kristina sat by her grandmother’s side during the 3.5 hour funeral. Shortly after the funeral was over, the 18-year-old went missing. Several sources speculate that she’s on drugs again. “There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina’s whereabouts last night for a short time, but she’s OK,” a Houston family spokesperson told The Daily Beast on Sunday, adding that drugs were not part of the equation. “She needed some time alone.”

“My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better,” he told ABC News in a new statement late Tuesday. “We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.” (US Weekly)

There were 1,500 invitations sent out, but Bobbi Brown only got one – for himself. “According to New Jersey paper The Star Ledger, the R&B singer, 43, arrived outside of the New Hope Baptist Church Saturday afternoon with an entourage of nine people in tow, demanding that they all get seats in the front row. The paper adds that Brown himself was allowed in, but he opted to leave with the rest of the people not admitted. “He was allowed to go in, pay his respects and then he had to leave,” a witness tells Us Weekly. “He was red-eyed going up to the casket and then left. He was there for 15 minutes.” A source has told Us that there is still underlying tension between Houston’s relatives and Brown, who married Houston in 1992. Their divorce was finalized in 2007. “There are family members who felt Bobby drove Whitney into drugs,” one source explained. “But now Bobby is clean and Whitney has unfortunately passed. So there’s resentment.” (US Weekly)

After leaving the funeral, Bobbi released a statement: “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston,” he said, referring to his three kids from previous relationships Landon, 26, La’princia, 11, Robert Jr., 10, plus Cassius, his two-year-old with wife Alicia Etheridge. “We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.”

Kevin Costner spoke at the funeral. In part, he said: “To you, Bobbi Kristina, and to all those young girls who are dreaming that dream, thinking that maybe they aren’t good enough, I think Whitney would tell you, guard your bodies. And guard the precious miracle of your own life. Then sing your hearts out.” In closing, he got choked up and said, “Off you go Whitney, off you go. Escorted by an army of angels to your heavenly Father. When you sing before him, don’t you worry. You’ll be good enough.”

Whitney’s casket was carried out to “I Will Always Love You”.

Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina covers Adele’s “Someone Like You” in a video she posted on her Twitter page on Saturday.

“Hope you like it,” Bobbi Kristina wrote, along with the clip, which looks to have been shot in her bedroom.

After mixed reviews from viewers, Bobbi was discouraged.

“The rude comments on my video? Really? Some people are pathetic,” Bobbi Kristina tweeted hours later. “No more singing for me, back to #dance. I’m sorry.”

Bobby Brown says his daughter doesn’t do drugs.

Really? Really Bobby, really?

Singer Bobby Brown refuses to believe his teenage daughter is struggling with substance abuse issues. He swears his 18-year-old daughter “doesn’t do drugs”.

Bobbi Kristina, whose mother is Whitney Houston, found herself at the center of a drug scandal last week when the National Enquirer obtained damning shots of a youngster alleged to be the teenager apparently taking cocaine at two different parties.

Kristina has since taken to her Twitter.com page to slam the reports, blaming an ex-boyfriend for setting her up to make it look as though she’s indulging in drugs.

She wrote, “A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like… But it’s really not what it looks like. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.”

What I find amazing is that Bobby Brown refuses to believe it. He and ex-wife Whitney famously struggled with drug addiction for YEARS, and it happened right in front of their daughter, Bobbi. Of course Bobbi is going to have issues!

Bobby tells ABC News, “I don’t know anything about that… I don’t know anything. My daughter doesn’t do that.”
