Geez, they may play superheroes in movies, but Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are just like us normal folks in real life…

The couple was speeding through Malibu yesterday when they got a surprise visit from an LA County Sheriff (above) … when Garfield was pulled over for being a speed demon.  TMZ has the pictures, and sources tell the site that Garfield was cited for speeding and then sent on his way.  No word how fast he was going, or where he was off too.

Guess your spider sense failed you this time, Andrew!

According to Us Weekly, ‘Spider-Man’ costars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are dating!

Production on The Amazing Spider-Man wrapped in May, but the love story between costars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield is far from over.

“They got close during filming and have been hooking up,” a source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now). The new couple decided to keep things quiet, the source adds, because Garfield split with his girlfriend of three years, Raising Hope actress Shannon Woodward, in May.

(Stone recently parted ways with Kieran Culkin, 28, her beau since last fall.) “They haven’t gone public, but he’s told his friends,” the insider says.

Sparks definitely flew between the costars at the MTV Movie Awards on June 5. First, the pair flirted throughout the ceremony (he was seated behind her). Then, at the afterparty, she squealed when she saw him — and they chatted for another 20 minutes!

They would make a cute couple! Love it!

For their 17th annual Hollywood Issue cover, Vanity Fair went back to the basics—no teenagers, no penguins, no (full-on) nudity, just the most exciting actors and actresses of the moment. Anchoring the front panel are Oscar co-hosts Anne Hathaway and James Franco (himself a best-actor nominee), along with Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, two of the most versatile, likable (and, yes, good-looking) leading men in Hollywood.

The two inside panels feature 11 more stars, from newcomer best-actor/actress nominees Jesse Eisenberg and Jennifer Lawrence to Noomi Rapace, whose stunning performance in the original, Swedish version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo propelled her from Stockholm to Hollywood. The cover was shot in Los Angeles and New York over the course of two days by photographer Norman Jean Roy, and, as you can see in the behind-the-scenes video below, V.F.’s West Coast editor Krista Smith managed to nab nearly all of our cover subjects for sit-down interviews on set.
