Vince Vaughn appears on the cover of the newest issue of British GQ and apparently he feels that guns should be everywhere – even in schools.
He told the publication:
I support people having a gun in public full stop, not just in your home. We don’t have the right to bear arms because of burglars; we have the right to bear arms to resist the supreme power of a corrupt and abusive government. It’s not about duck hunting; it’s about the ability of the individual. It’s the same reason we have freedom of speech. It’s well known that the greatest defence against an intruder is the sound of a gun hammer being pulled back. All these gun shootings that have gone down in America since 1950, only one or maybe two have happened in non-gun-free zones. Take mass shootings. They’ve only happened in places that don’t allow guns. These people are sick in the head and are going to kill innocent people. They are looking to slaughter defenceless human beings. They do not want confrontation. In all of our schools it is illegal to have guns on campus, so again and again these guys go and shoot up these f***ing schools because they know there are no guns there. They are monsters killing six-year-olds.
He also said that the country’s elite have hidden guns in schools in order to protect their children:
You think the politicians that run my country and your country don’t have guns in the schools their kids go to? They do. And we should be allowed the same rights. Banning guns is like banning forks in an attempt to stop making people fat. Taking away guns, taking away drugs, the booze, it won’t rid the world of criminality.

Actor Vince Vaughn was unable to avoid the frosty clutches of Frozen phenomenon. His daughter Lochlyn, 4, is a big fan, but the celebrity dad worries that it might be damaging her just a little bit. He sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and joked about his very conflicting emotions over the much-beloved movie.
“I think Frozen is great, but it’s interesting to me because of the two ladies in the movie.
“[Anna’s] all in with the first guy she meets, right? He says, ‘I love you,’ and that’s the end of it. She’s just, here’s my heart, here’s everything, and then he turns out not to be the best of choices.”
“[Elsa] doesn’t want to get too close to anyone because she’ll hurt them, she’ll freeze them and she’ll cause them pain, so she has to shut herself out. So I wonder what a child psychologist would say about this … [My daughter] tells me she has to shut me out. She says, ‘I’m shutting you out, I’m not good for you. I have to be far, far away.’ ”
“A little role-playing, a little imagination is good, but I’m like, ‘Are we doing some serious damage here? ‘ And then she’ll freeze me and I’ll go along with it, so maybe I’m encouraging it. I say to her, ‘Well, you don’t have to shut me out because if you do freeze me you’ll kiss me to unfreeze me.’ But it doesn’t change the dialogue; I’m being shut out, I’m being frozen, I’m being kissed. It’s a very complicated roller coaster. I don’t think I’m alone. There’s a lot of girls out there shutting people out and freezing people.”

Vince Vaughn is notoriously private when it comes to his family and personal life. It is a rare, rare thing to see him out and about with his kids, much less bringing them along to a Hollywood event like this! But it’s not every day that your handprints and footprints are forever cemented at the Chinese Theater!
Vince’s wife Kyla Weber and their two kids, Lochlyn and Vernon, stood proudly by and watched him cement his legacy at the famed location.
I love Kyla’s smile above. It’s a “can we get out of here now, my face hurts from smiling and the kids are squirmy!” expression. How funny would it have been if Vernon wiggled his way free and stuck his hands in the cement?!

Vince Vaughn opened up about what it was like to date Jennifer Aniston. He said that it was “great” but there was a lot of attention on their relationship.
In a new interview with Playboy, he said, “You know, she’s great. For me personally – and I think most well-known actors who are together feel this way – I never enjoyed the paparazzi side of it. You like someone and you’re spending time with them; that’s separate and that was all fine. But I really spent most of that time finding ways not to be drawn into the attention.”
He went on to say, “I think lying low and not talking about it put me in a good position later. Because I just wasn’t part of anything.”
After they broke things off, Jennifer said, “I call Vince my defibrillator. He literally brought me back to life. My first gasp of air was a big laugh! It was great. I love him. He’s a bull in a china shop. He was lovely and fun and perfect for the time we had together. And I needed that. And it sort of ran its court.”
