Victoria Beckham is known for her jaw-dropping fashions and sky-high heels, but a recent injury, specifically a slipped disc in her back, has her on flat shoes detail until a doctors says otherwise. This couldn’t come at a worse time for the fashionista, seeing as how New York’s fashion week is coming up in a few weeks. This is all happening to the same woman who wore platforms well into her third trimester of her last pregnancy:

Having previously said that she “can’t concentrate in flat shoes” it appears that the mother-of-four is going to be very scatter-brained over the coming weeks.

She’s also said in the past that she’s never read a book – but named her six-week old daughter Harper after her “favorite author” Harper Lee so maybe what she says should be taken with a grain of salt.

“Victoria’s not had an easy past few weeks, but she’s a trooper and after getting the all-clear to attend Fashion Week provided her back doesn’t significantly deteriorate, she has been advised to avoid heels.”

The smile-deficient fashionista is said to have slipped the disc while pregnant but it was made worse by her recent caesarean section.

“Victoria has been frantically surfing the web for an acceptable pair of flats, ones which don’t make her look like a golf club,” the source added.

But Christian Louboutin and Roger Vivier are apparently scrambling to create acceptable pairs of heel-less shoes before her great unveiling.

Victoria Beckham just released this new picture of her daughter Harper Seven, being held by husband David Beckham.

Victoria wrote, “I took this beautiful picture and wanted to share it with you, baby Harper cuddling Daddy! x VB”.

David, of course, is swooning over the birth of his first daughter. In a recent interview with Extra he said, “It’s different having a little girl, she’s elegant, she sleeps in an elegant position, she‘s the cutest thing…All the boys won’t leave her alone, which is amazing. Can’t wait to get home to see her.”

Will the power couple have more kids? “If we’re lucky enough, we hope to have one more.”

David and Victoria Beckham each released pictures of their new daughter Harper Seven over the weekend. David took the picture above, and posted it on his Facebook page, saying “I took this picture of my two girls sleeping.”

Wife Victoria took the picture below, and posted it on her Twitter saying, “Daddy’s little girl!”

Harper Seven was born last week.

The baby, born in Los Angeles, was named after Harper Lee, American author of Victoria’s favourite book To Kill A Mockingbird.

Ex-England skipper Becks told of his joy in video interviews also posted on the net days before.

He said: “To have another girl in the family is really incredible.

“We’ve got three beautiful healthy boys already and we’re so lucky to have that – and now to have a beautiful little girl.

“Having a daughter is a whole new thing. Having pink in the house, having lilac in the house.

“And you have to be a lot more delicate with girls than boys. I’m not used to that, so it’s a whole new experience.”

Harper’s arrival by caesarean last Sunday brought a sister for the Beckhams’ sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six.

So why Harper Seven?

Harper is an old English name that Victoria has always loved, PEOPLE has learned, and seven is considered a very lucky spiritual number.

In addition, Harper Seven was born Sunday morning in L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center weighing 7 lbs. (and 10 oz.) in the seventh hour in the seventh month – on the seventh day of the week.

As sports fans can’t help but also note, seven was David’s jersey number for Manchester United and the English national team.

Speaking of numbers, the Irish bookmaking firm of Paddy Power has offered odds of 100:1 on Harper’s following in dad’s footsteps and going out for the England Women’s team. The odds of her becoming a singer in the mode of her former Spice Girl mom are 16:1.

Harper joins brothers Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8½, and Cruz, 6½.

David Beckham just posted this picture of wife Victoria Beckham on his Facebook page that shows his very pregnant wife’s baby bump.

“Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking,” writes Beckham. “She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!”

Victoria Beckham wears a gown of toilet paper – and tweets it!

The fashion queen was wrapped in toilet paper during a baby shower game over the weekend. The star-studded affair was hosted by her friends Eva Longoria and Ken Paves. She Tweeted prior to the shower that she had  “been told to wear something waterproof for my baby shower.”

“I’m very nervous!” she wrote. “Is waterproof chic or stylish is any way?”

The former Spice Girl tweeted a picture of herself, and friend Selma Blair in dresses made of toilet paper.

The luncheon, held at West Hollywood’s Petit L’Ermitage hotel was attended by more than 30 guests, including Demi Moore, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and Tana Ramsay.

“Such a lovely day! Thank you so much Eva and Ken for being such wonderful friends,” Beckham wrote. “Baby showers are so much fun!”

Despite the gossip, Victoria Beckham was wearing a deep navy blue dress, not black. (So, no, she didn’t bring bad luck!)

Posh’s outfit was from her own collection, and those Christian Louboutins on her feet were made specially for her! Her deep navy blue pillbox fascinator was made by Philip Treacy.

Now we move on to soccer superstar David Beckham. One word: HOT!

David’s morning suit was designed by Ralph Lauren from the Purple Label collection. He also carried a top hat… but didn’t seem to wear it! Also, do you see the medal on his suit? That is the Order of the British Empire medal, and David proudly wore it… ON THE WRONG LAPEL! The sportsman pinned his OBE medal on the right lapel when it should have been pinned on the left lapel!

The Beckhams were definitely on the the royal wedding’s “Hottest List” — right beneath the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, of course!
