The Spice Girls have announced Friday that they would be canceling shows in four countries, China, South Africa, Australia, and Argentina.
Citing “family and personal” reasons, the Spice Girls, said on their official website, “Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments.”
It wasn’t explained exactly what those commitments might be, but with four of the five Girls being mothers to young children — and with rumors still floating of Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham possibly having another child — it’s likely that these moms just want to spend more time with their families.

The Spice Girls turned their latest performance at London’s O2 into a family affair after bringing their children on stage during their hit song Mama.
Victoria Beckham beamed proudly as her sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - who were all clad in black t-shirts with POSH emblazoned across the front - joined her during the show. Mel B brought daughter Phoenix Chi and baby Angel Iris out on show, while thrilled fans cooed as Emma Bunton nursed the latest addition to group’s clan, her four-month-old son Beau. The only baby Spice missing was Geri’s one-year-old girl Bluebell Madonna.
All six children were decked out with earplugs to protect their young ears from the noise levels on stage, rather than from their mother’s pitchy singing.
Mel C, who is the only Spice Girl yet to have children, has revealed she is keen to start family of her own with her property developer boyfriend Thomas Starr. The 33-year-old has said: “I’d love to be a mother. At my age, the clock is ticking, so I don’t want to leave it that long. “I do lots of live shows and festivals, which is a lifestyle that won’t suit having a child. I think I need to seriously consider taking a bit of time out for that.”
She’s less eager to get married however.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine: “Getting married is not at the forefront of my mind, but we intend to be together forever. He’s 40 and I’m 33, and I think that age gap works.
“He’s my sugar daddy and I feel safe with him.”
The band will perform for 17 nights in London in total, before taking their tour to Manchester.

The Spice Girls got a chance to say “thank you” in person to Sir Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Atlantic Airlines, for hooking them up with their very own 747 “Spice One.”
Earlier today, they showed up at London’s Heathrow Airport to attend the grand opening of a new terminal, where they met up with Branson and posed for some pictures.
Enjoy the pictures of the Spice Girls opening up the new Virgin terminal at Heathrow (December 13).
Can we talk about how much I love Mel B’s new bod, post-DWTS?! She looks amazing- loves her!

As if the masses of screaming fans & overwhelming demand for concert tickets wasn’t enough, the Spice Girls have been hooked up with their own plane for their reunion tour.
The “Spice One” is a Virgin Atlantic 747 jet in which the five UK superstars & their families will be frolicking around the world over the next couple of months. With their American tour dates having been fulfilled, the Girls are off to Mother England, for a 17-show stint at London’s O2 Arena.

Melanie Chisholm performed last night at The Mint after their great Wednesday night show in LA. Posh & Scary showed up with their hubbies & rallied for their girl.
There’s no word as to any other plans for Mel C to do any solo gigs in the cities visited by the Spice Girls reunion tour. But keep your eyes peeled- there’s no telling what could happen now that these five ladies are back together.
The last picture below is just a little ‘Happy Friday’ gift to myself. Enjoy!
