On Heidi Montag’s 24th birthday yesterday, she, Spencer Pratt and friends (they have friends?) spend the day at the Santa Barbara Zoo. For her birthday dinner they ate lobster and fish on the Santa Barbara Pier.

Here’s the proof, Heidi and Spencer are back together. Notice Heidi’s wearing her wedding ring for the first time in months.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt spotted together at the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer event held in Santa Barbara, California today. Heidi Montag, who went unnoticed, was at the event to show her support for breast cancer research. Montag, who was seen with a bandage on her nose and baseball cap pulled down over her face, also wore a pink Avon Walk for Breast Cancer top. Spencer Pratt, who was only yesterday deported from Costa Rica for allegedly carrying a firearm while traveling back to California, sported a long scruffy beard and an American flag baseball hat and a wrist watch on each arm. The couple who arrived and left separately appeared eager to see one another as Spencer sprinted across the field to greet Montag.

Although Heidi insists they are divorcing, they definitely put on a united front this weekend!

Spencer looks good considering he was arrested on Saturday at the airport in Costa Rica. He was nabbed for illegally possessing a firearm. Bad boys, bad boys, watcha gonna do?

Spencer Pratt is definitely someone we love to hate. He’s the king of bad publicity, and gets some sort of sick pleasure from pissing people off. The person at the brunt of most of his antics is his soon-to-be ex-wife, Heidi Montag. At this point he realizes he’s been a major ass, and he’s sorry for it.

He sent an apology to Heidi via the Associated Press. Part of his letter is below.

Spencer Pratt on Wednesday issued a long apology to the woman he’s divorcing, Heidi Montag, saying he’s planning “intense soul-searching” and pursuing “appropriate avenues for my issues.”

“Divorce can be a trying, draining, and emotionally devastating experience for all involved,” Pratt, 27, tells PEOPLE. “Despite these hardships, most individuals manage to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. I did not – I failed spectacularly.”

Addressing his actions toward Montag, 23, he says, “I horribly embarrassed the one person that meant the world to me. For my outrageous and infantile behavior, I offer Heidi my most sincere apologies.”

He didn’t specify what actions, but Pratt has been threatening to release a sex tape involving Montag, launched rants against her on Twitter and has been relentlessly pursuing her in Costa Rica.

“Over the years, her love, support, and friendship were always given, but never properly cherished. I let her down,” he says. “She never deserved the pain and anguish I put her through, and although I don’t expect it, I hope in time she’ll be able to forgive me.”

He adds, “Even though our relationship has changed, I will always count her among my best friends.”

HA! Check out the tape on Heidi’s nose below!

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag (who are in Costa Rica right now reportedly to negotiate the sale of their sex tape library) have agreed that they need couple’s counseling. Heidi – despite publicly slamming Spencer is reportedly on board with the counseling.

According to TMZ, Spencer still loves his wife, and is willing to do anything to get her back, and put an end to their divorce. Spencer’s even gone so far as to admit that he has a “fame addiction”.

I guess admitting you have a problem is the first step. Methinks this is all part of Spencer’s new ploy to get his on TV show.

Earlier I posted a story on the horribly fake breakup of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.  TMZ had reported that the two were spotted together in Costa Rica. PEOPLE has the scoop on what may or may not be happening here. Basically, they’re being vague – and drawing this shenanigan on longer.

“[Heidi] thought I was going to leave, but I’m not. I didn’t want to get divorced … I have nothing in Malibu, I’m homeless, I’m nothing without her.”

Montag admits she agreed to have Pratt join her in Costa Rica. “Everything was calm and going smoothly with the divorce,” she says. “We were really getting along and it was amazing he was being so thoughtful to help me move. Then things turned.”

By things turning, Montag is referring to the supposed deal Pratt is working on with Vivid Entertainment to sell a sex tape. “There is no sex tape that exists and there never was,” she says. “Spencer is trying to drum up press. This is exactly why I wanted to divorce him in the first place.”

But Pratt insists such a tape does exist. “I told Heidi … if you don’t want to do the new reality show with me, then I’ll have to release old footage,” he says. “I can get $5 million from a sex tape, but I really don’t want to do that. It’s not the way I want things to be. Heidi is furious with me but I need to look out for myself.”

As for the future, “I’m going to leave the hotel and get a house because Spencer won’t leave me alone and won’t go back to Malibu right now,” Montag says. “It’s just too hard. I still love him, but I can’t stand what he’s doing.”

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have reportedly been in the middle of a bitter separation/divorce. But according to TMZ, the two have been spotted together in Costa Rica – and they have pictures to prove it!

This is kind of interesting, considering last week, TMZ reported that Pratt threatened to release a sex tape if Heidi starlet doesn’t do another reality show with him.

He is currently shopping around multiple sex tapes of Montag, including one with Pratt and another featuring Montag with Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon. And that isn’t all he has planned. The reality star has also announced that he’s planning a tell-all book in which he’s “not holding anything back,” including his argumentative relationship with Montag’s mother, Darlene.

Vivid Entertainment has confirmed that they are considering purchasing the multiple tapes (reportedly to the tune of $5 million!)

“Promises you the Citizen Kane of sex tapes. Honestly, Orson Wells makes a guest appearance,” Pratt teased on Twitter on Saturday.  “Recommends you wait for the Special Edition Sex Tape. Blu-Ray, director’s commentary, and bloopers!”

Heidi responded via Twitter of course, “F U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Then he said… “Seriously? You’re going to start sh*t on twitter?”

Heidi also agreed with Lauren Conrad (barf, seriously) and commented: @LaurenConrad you were right! Spencer is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sucky!!!

Are we sick of this yet?

Well, TMZ has footage AND PICTURES of the couple together in Costa Rica! If they’re really that upset with each other – then something tells me they wouldn’t be seen together vacationing, or whatever they’re doing.

I am so sick of these two – and their fake breakup. I am not surprised AT ALL that this was one big publicity stunt.

Heidi Montag is maaaaad at Spencer. There’s a rumor going around that Spencer Pratt is shopping around a sex tape of him and Heidi. Friends are defending The Hills star.

“Heidi’s really p—ed off,” the couple’s pal Cougar Zank told RadarOnline.com. “She denies there is a sex tap. She’s furious that Spencer would try and embarrass her like this.”

When asked if Heidi knew about Spencer’s plans, her pal Jennifer Bunney told RadarOnline.com: “No way [Heidi know about this].

“She would never put out a sex tape of herself. She’s extremely religious and concentrated on getting her life to where she wants it to be.”

A sex tape, Bunney says, is the “last thing” Heidi would do. “Really, Spencer would never hurt Heidi. He loves her even despite the fact that they are getting a divorce. I really doubt the validity of this.”

Well, Cougar spoke with Steven Hirsch. He is from porn distributor Vivid. He has confirmed the Spencer did indeed come around trying to shop a tape. But the tape has yet to appear. No one’s seen it as of yet and I don’t think anyone wants to either! Yuck!
