George Clooney’s model ex will have to wait for fashion glory - her plans to link with style guru Christian Audigier have fallen flat.

Sarah Larson recently boasted of teaming up with the Los Angeles-based designer for a new beachwear and general clothing line, but it appears her remarks are premature - Audigier insists he has no plans to collaborate with the former reality TV star.

A spokeswoman for the designer says, “She came to our office while we were shooting a campaign and she stopped by the shoot. We shot a couple of different looks on her, but she is not the new face of Ed Hardy or Christian Audigier and we are not doing a swimwear line with her.”

Sarah Larson is laughing off reports she is dating British tough guy Jason Statham, insisting her recent meeting with the Transporter star was “nothing”.

The model, who split from the Ocean’s Eleven hunk in May, sparked rumors of a love match with Statham earlier this month after they were pictured together in Las Vegas.

The British action man has already dismissed any romance claims, and now Larson has insisted there was nothing romantic about the hook up.

She tells People.com, “It was a large group of people and I didn’t even know he was at the table. We talked for a little bit but it was nothing.”

And she admits she is happy living the single life for the time being: “It’s working for me. I’m staying single. I’m not dating anyone right now. I’ve been focusing a lot on work and things are going very well.”

Even though Sarah Larson is no longer jetting around the world and hitting red carpets with George Clooney, single life is treating her just fine.

“It’s working for me,” she told People of being single Friday before hosting a party at Tao Las Vegas.

Having split from Clooney in May following a year-long whirlwind romance, Larson is now spending most of her time modeling in Los Angeles. As far as jumping into a relationship, no thanks, she says.

“I’m staying single,” said Larson, who wore a Black Halo dresss to the event. “I’m not dating anyone right now.”

Her dating life also excludes The Bank Job star Jason Statham, whom she was linked to after dinner in Las Vegas last month.

Jason Statham has denied he is romancing George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson - insisting their recent dinner was not a date.

Clooney and Larson ended their year-long relationship in May and the cocktail waitress-turned-model sparked rumors she is dating Statham after they were pictured together in Las Vegas.

But the Transporter star insists that he has only met Larson once and it was not a romantic occasion.

He says, “I have met her. I was in Vegas with my friend and manager Steve Chasman last week and we were all at a big table. Next thing you know I’m jumping in and out of bed with her.”

Actor George Clooney certainly knows how to stay on good terms with his exes, if a new interview with Sarah Larson is anything to go by.

Clooney split with the former cocktail waitress in May after a year together. But if anyone expected her to be bitter about losing her grip on Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, think again.

“George is a great guy, a wonderful person. I don’t regret spending time with him and he’s a great person to get to know.

“We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago. He’s fun to be around, down to earth, laid back, funny and smart,” she gushed to Hello! magazine.

And the Ocean’s Eleven star is apparently a man of hidden talents.

“Most people know George has a great sense of humor and is an adept storyteller, but I will always miss his extraordinary dance moves,” Larson said.

The 29-year-old met Clooney while waitressing in a Las Vegas cocktail bar.

Thanks to their relationship, however, she is now moving on to bigger and better things.

“I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened, and I have no complaints.

“I make good money. I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place,” she said.

“I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modelling campaign that may bring me to England soon.

“I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there.

“If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy. I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humor.”

After last month’s break-up with George Clooney, newly single Sarah Larson is getting back to work modeling a new line of couture dresses by designer Christian Audigier, a rep for the line confirms exclusively to People.

Audigier tells People exclusively, “She is a fresh, elegant and classy girl. I saw her on a red carpet and liked her style and European look.” Larson was in Los Angeles Thursday to meet with the designer for a fitting. “She was in a great mood and excited to work,” says an Audigier rep.

A photo shoot for the ad campaign took place on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles. “Sarah was picked by Christian Audigier because she looks fabulous in everything she wears,” says Larson’s agent Kenya Knight. While the line of dresses, which feature Audigier’s trademark tattoo-style prints, is already available on his website, Larson’s ads won’t be seen until later this month.
