Don’t ask Natalie Portman to start planning the nursery for her upcoming baby, she says it’s way too soon to start thinking about that. She tells People:

I’m very superstitious,” Portman, 29, said Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie No Strings Attached, in which she stars with Ashton Kutcher.

“I’m very Jewish that way. We don’t do that.”

Considering the actress has been busy promoting three movies in the past few months, she says she’s ready to take some time off after the birth.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Portman said, adding that she will be laying low for a while and will just take any future career opportunity “as it comes.”

“Sex scenes are very unnerving. You have a director telling you how you should be doing it better, which is horrible even when you’re in a room alone with somebody. I’d much rather die on camera than do a sex scene.”

While I agree that these actors gave us the best performances of the year – really W? You take someone as gorgeous as Mark Ruffallo – and you make him look like a crazy bird man? Luckily for you, he’s still hot – even in this mess.

“The movie that I watched the most when I was growing up was Dirty Dancing. I always loved Penny, probably because I was really like Baby. I was a Jewish girl from a Jewish family, so of course I liked the tall, skinny blond girl.”

The actress, 29, is the new face of The Parfums Christian Dior line — and in a new ad for Miss Dior Cherie, Portman appears topless, with her hands covering her chest.

Wearing just a black bow in her hair, the Black Swan star gives a sexy look over her shoulder.

The ad — Portman’s first cosmetics endorsement deal — appears to have been shot prior to her announced pregnancy with fiance Benjamin Millepied’s child.

But R-rated poses are nothing new to Portman, who played a stripper in Closer, had a raunchy love scene with Mila Kunis in Black Swan, and sexy encounters with Ashton Kutcher in No Strings Attached.

Natalie Portman posed for the February cover of InStyle before the exciting news of her engagement and pregnancy. The shoot was obviously done before her engagement, because her gorgeous ring is missing in the photos!  The No Strings Attached actress sat down with the magazine to chat about romance, Black Swan, and what she looks for in a man.

What she looks for in a partner: “I look for all the same things I would in a friend. Obviously, you need the sexual attraction too, so it’s like your best friend who you are also really attracted to.”

If she could go unrecognized for a day, what would she do? “I would make out in the park! [Laughs.] That’s the thing I would most enjoy doing in New York, and it’s something I’ll never do. I’d also have loud, public conversations with my friends about personal things. Even if no one is paying attention—and most of the time, no one cares—you never know who is at the next table.”

Natalie on the concept of “friends with benefits:” “I certainly have friends who could deal with that and others who could not. . . It’s something I’ve seen in high-achieving women—they compartmentalize. You’ve got your work, your friends, your exercise, and your sex. [Grins.] You can tick off those boxes.”

On her recent pregnancy and engagement: “This is the most private of private experiences. But I am completely awed by the whole process we are living through. I cannot express how lucky I feel.”

Natalie Portman looked beautiful at this weekend’s Palm Springs International Film Festival! Though her fiance skipped the red carpet, he was waiting for her inside – and was the recipient of an emotional tribute when Natalie accepted an achievement award.

Accepting the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the tight-lipped pregnant star couldn’t help gushing about Benjamin Millepied, the dancer/choreographer whom she met while making Black Swan.

As Frenchman Millepied, 33, looked on from the audience, Portman, 29, got teary-eyed as she thanked her fiance who “partnered me in the movie and who now partners me in life.”

About three months along with Millepied’s child, Portman concealed her baby bump with a Vionnet dress and proudly wore her stunning engagement ring — UsMagazine.com revealed the first pics on Friday — as she accepted her trophy.

A source tells the new Us Weekly that “it was seductive to watch” Portman and Millepied (who plays a male ballet dancer in Black Swan) fall in love on the film’s set. “There was no way the attraction could be missed,” the insider adds.

“She likes artsy, smart guys and he’s an artsy, smart guy,” another pal notes of Millepied, one of the youngest choreographers at the prestigious New York City Ballet.
