Naomi Campbell’s Russian billionaire boyfriend has reportedly splashed out $18.5 million on an apartment for the beauty.

Vladislav Doronin allegedly paid the sum for a penthouse flat in Sao Paulo, Brazil after Campbell told him how much she loved the country and “wanted to settle down there”.

The apartment was a “gift” to the supermodel and the couple will use it as their home in Brazil, reports New York gossip column PageSix.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell saved her mother’s life when she was diagnosed with cancer – by getting the world’s best doctors to treat her.

Valerie Campbell, 55, has told how her daughter spoke to the most experienced surgeons in the U.S. after she contracted breast cancer in 2005.

The catwalk star’s mom says, “Naomi went from one doctor to another in America, pulled all her contacts and did not take no for an answer. My daughter saved my life.”

British model Campbell has also accepted her community service punishment for assaulting a police officer at London’s Heathrow Airport in April.

Her mother adds: “I try to abide by rules and regulations. If you break the law then you must pay the penalty. And I think Naomi understands that very well herself.”

Naomi Campbell has compared the Kabbalah religion to a rehabilitation program for alcoholics.

Kabbalah – which is based on the foundations of Judaism – is practiced by a variety of celebrities including Madonna, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
But Campbell has slammed the religion – insisting that the teachings are more like an Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) program.

She says, “I knew about Kabbalah before Madonna got involved. Kabbalah is not a religion, it’s a program. I don’t like to get hooked on things like that.

“It reminds me of A.A. but just with different words. They’ve got the same principles. We’re all looking for positivity in our lives and looking towards the light but I just believe in God. I am religious. I pray most days and do my thing. But each to their own.”

Naomi Campbell has hit out at the current batch of ‘supermodels’, insisting Gisele Bundchen was the last runway queen to deserve the title.

The British beauty believes the supermodel tag is handed out too easily, and that most of the models who claim the accolade don’t deserve it.

Campbell says, “Models need to earn their stripes – I just think the term is used a little too loosely. Kate Moss is obviously a supermodel but, after Gisele, I don’t think there’s been one.”

Naomi Campbell refused to pay a $400 bill at a Russian hotel after allegedly burning its silk sheets.

The catwalk queen stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow with billionaire lover Vladislav Doronin last week.

But Campbell refused to pay a hotel fine after cleaning staff claimed they found holes burnt into the room’s silk bedsheets.

A spokesman for Campbell denies she caused damage to hotel property, adding, “She didn’t have candles on the sheets. She did not smoke in the hotel room. It is completely untrue.”

Naomi Campbell has offered Kate Moss her support amid rumors of a split with rocker Jamie Hince – and insists she is “lucky” to be friends with the fellow model.

Campbell is full of praise for Moss, promising to be there for her “best friend” whenever she has any problems.

She says, “I am so lucky to have friends like Kate, who are there for me whatever. Even if we are not on the same continent we support each other. That’s what best friends do.
