After it was reported yesterday that Amber Portwood had been admitted to the hospital after an alleged suicide attempt, MTV is weighing in on the rumors surrounding the reality mom.
MTV says: “Our understanding is that Amber has been admitted to a local hospital but we have not been able to confirm the accuracy of any reports being circulated and are waiting for further details. Our thoughts are with her and we hope to hear more soon.”
A friend close to Amber told OK! that she is now stabilized and awake, adding that she’d been taking morphine recently to deal with the pressures of filming and her custody battle for her daughter, Leah, who has been with dad Gary Shirley.
Amber’s situation hasn’t been very good lately, as the source tells OK!, “She can’t handle not seeing Leah. She really only gets to see her maybe once a week for an hour, and that’s it. And it’s supervised by the CPS.”
Another insider tells OK!, “It’s very serious. Amber and her family want her privacy respected during this difficult time. No one is sure exactly what happened as the story keeps changing so everyone is sorting through the facts.”

RadarOnline is reporting that ‘Teen Mom’ star Amber Portwood attempted suicide this morning, after trying to hang herself.
Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has been rushed to a hospital emergency room after being found unconscious in her home with a rope around her neck in a possible suicide attempt, Star magazine is exclusively reporting via RadarOnline.com.
The embattled 21-year-old MTV star is being treated at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson, Indiana.
A source said Portwood, the mother of two-year-old tot Leah, was found just after noon on Tuesday. The source said Portwood later admitted to hospital staffers she had taken a cocktail of pills.
Portwood’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Gary Shirley became concerned about Portwood’s state of mind after having a phone conversation with her, the source told Star.
He sent his mom to check on her.
After being let into her home, according to the source, Portwood was discovered unconscious on a couch.
“It’s believed she may have taken an overdose of some kind of pill,” the source revealed. “She also may have tried to tie a piece of rope or string around her neck.”
Police and an ambulance unit were called to the scene and Portwood was transported to a local hospital.
Star has confirmed that she was admitted into the emergency room, where she later regained consciousness and was stabilized.
I want to hope this isn’t true, but it looks like it might be. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a ‘Teen Mom’ and have your whole life played out on TV. Reality TV just destroys people!!!

Conservative (or maybe just good) parents across the globe can rest easy now, MTV has decided to cancel ‘Skins’. I only saw about 10 minutes of the first episode, and besides the fact that it was “shocking” it was just plain dumb. It got more attention for being pornographic than it did for the show/storylines itself.
Adios!
MTV will not be going with a second season of its racy teen drama Skins. The news is not particularly surprising as it’s been almost 3 months since the series ended its freshman run. “Skins is a global television phenomenon that, unfortunately, didn’t connect with a US audience as much as we had hoped,” MTV said in a statement.
“We admire the work that the series’ creator Bryan Elsley did in adapting the show for MTV, and appreciate the core audience that embraced it.” Skins, an adaptation of the praised British series, became one of MTV’s most talked about shows ever when TV watchdog the Parents Television Council characterized it as possibly “the most dangerous television show for children that we have ever seen.”
It called on the Feds to open an investigation for possible child pornography and exploitation on the show, which, in keeping with the British original, employed (often underage) teen actors to play the characters of the same age. That led to a number of advertisers pulling from the show but MTV stuck with it and aired the entire first season with small editing of more explicit content. Ratings-wise, Skins was solid while not spectacular. It opened with 3.3 million viewers for its premiere, which followed Jersey Shore, dropping half of it in its second episode.
After several weeks of declines, the show’s numbers picked up toward the end of its freshman run, which wrapped with 1.2 million viewers for the finale. Skins’ ratings are comparable with those for MTV’s other scripted series, Hard Times with RJ Berger, which is back for a second season, and recent entry Teen Wolf. However, because of it MA rating, Skins could not be repeated throughout MTV’s schedule like the other shows, putting more pressure on the premiere telecast to perform very well so the network can get enough bang for its buck.

I’m sitting here now watching the MTV Movie Awards, and for the first time in 4 years, I’m not on the red carpet myself! So bummed! I had some family emergencies that kept me home this year, but hopefully I’ll be back next year!
So many great looking celebs on the red carpet this year! I’m not sure what I think about Kristen Stewart’s safety-pin dress, what do you think?
I’ll post more as the show goes on!

When I saw these pictures – I thought to myself there’s no way this is JWoww from ‘Jersey Shore’. No way! They’ve been mistagged!
And then I looked through the rest of the pictures, and sure enough – it’s her! Man, she has had some serious work done! Cheeks? Nose? Lips? What do you think?
Look through the pics below – discuss amongst yourselves…
Here are Jenni Farley aka JWOWW and Deena Cortese are photographed at a laundromat in Florence, Italy.

Jordan Ward, who recently appeared on MTV’s ’16 and Pregnant’ is pregnant AGAIN! The mother of 17-month-old son, Noah, admitted on her Facebook page that her family is growing.
“I’ve read every comment on here,” she wrote on her Facebook wall. “Yes I’m pregnant again. I really do not care if you think it’s wrong.”
Ward’s first pregnancy was featured on the third season of MTV’s controversial reality teen drama, ’16 and Pregnant.’ And now, two years later, Ward believes that she is more than capable of handling her round two pregnancy.
“I am married, we pay for everything, we aren’t living off of family or anything,” she wrote. “We pay rent, we own our car, for insurance, pay for food, pay for our cell phones, pay for clothes and whatever Noah needs. And we are moving in a house in August. && here’s a kicker…..IAM THE ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF NOAH 24/7!”
But Ward isn’t doing it completely solo, her husband, Brian, will support the family as an Air Force linguist — he begins his new gig next month.
I saw her episode, and I thought out of all the Teen Mom’s she did seem like she had her head screwed on right. Her twin sister was the one who seemed hormonal! I’d love to see how it her responded to the news she was pregnant again!
Hopefully it works out for them!
