Leonardo DiCaprio is set to team up with Mel Gibson for a new movie about the Vikings.

The Titanic actor will star and Gibson will direct the upcoming epic, about the medieval Scandinavian warrior race.

The film, which is expected to begin shooting next year, comes from screenwriter William Monahan and producer Graham King, who previously teamed up on DiCaprio’s 2006 movie The Departed.

King tells Variety, “This will be an awe-inspiring story, created with some of the industry’s finest cinematic talent, and I am just over the moon to be making this film with Mel, Leo and Bill (Monahan).”

Not gonna lie, I’d totally watch it.

According to WENN, the folks at Disney are getting ready to make ‘Three Men and a Bride,’ reuniting Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson and Tom Selleck in a second sequel to the enormously popular ‘Three Men and a Baby.’

That 1987 film, which was based on the French smash hit ’3 hommes et un couffin,’ revolved around three New York bachelors who take care of a baby abandoned outside their door. The 1990 sequel, ‘Three Men and a Little Lady,’ had the three “dads” dealing with their five-year-old daughter potentially moving to England with her mum. Presumably ‘Bride’ will deal with the three dads giving away their betrothed daughter and all the inherent pre-nuptial problems the writers can conjure up.

Guttenberg told WENN, “Disney’s developing ‘Three Men and a Bride.’ That’s going to be a smash. A smash hit. They’re bringing everybody back for that. Nobody knows about it. I’m the first to talk about it.”

Guttenberg, whose film career after ‘Little Lady’ hasn’t exactly been in overdrive, also told WENN that he wants to bring back ‘Police Academy’ and ‘Cocoon.’ “It’s definitely time for another ‘Police Academy’,” he said. “And I think they could make another ‘Cocoon.’ They’re surefire hits and I think they’re good for the world. They make the world a better place and that’s what it’s all about.”

Variety reports that 20th Century Fox will develop a retelling of the story of Moses, from his near death as an infant to his adoption into the Egyptian royal family, his defiance of the Pharaoh and deliverance of the Hebrews from enslavement.

The script will be written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, who recently completed a scripted retelling of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick for director Timur Bekmambetov at Universal.

Moby Dick was pitched as a 300-like reimagining of the Melville story as a visually stunning action piece, and the story of Moses is conceived similarly.

The trade adds that the goal is to give a Braveheart feel to a story most famously captured in Cecil B. DeMille’s 1956 film The Ten Commandments. Peter Chernin will produce with Dylan Clark.

But this time, Renee Zellweger doesn’t want to gain weight.

Renee Zellweger won’t be piling on the pounds to reprise her role as Bridget Jones — the actress is reportedly planning to don a fat suit for filming.

The petite star has signed on for a third film about the hapless diary-keeper, after the first two movies grossed more than $544 million worldwide.

But instead of embarking on a high fat diet as she did for the 2001 and 2004 pictures, Zellweger will turn to the wardrobe department to make her appear larger.

A source tells Britain’s Reveal magazine, “Renee will be wearing a fat suit in the third film as it took her a while to lose the weight last time. She’s also thinking about the effect quickly putting on and then losing 30 pounds has on her body.”

Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are also expected to return to the movie franchise. The upcoming film is rumored to chart Jones’ quest to have a baby in her 40s.

More people wanted to watch 3-D meatballs than Jennifer Aniston or Megan Fox at the box office this weekend.

The cartoon Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (featuring the voices of Al Roker and Mr. T) earned $30.1 million, claiming the No. 1 spot.

Aniston’s new romance, Love Happens, was her worst opening in years, netting $8.5 million for the No. 4 sport.

Critics had slammed the film.

“Ms. Aniston’s role is underwritten to the point that her character barely takes shape,” said The New York Times. “Once again she inhabits the Hollywood stereotype of a lonely all-American gal waiting to be completed by a man. Here her super-normality isn’t simply bland; it is empty and lifeless; there is no gleam in her eye.”

Fox didn’t have much box office luck, either.

Despite buzz about her same-sex smooch with Amanda Seyfried, her chiller Jennifer’s Body opened at No. 5 with $6.8 million.

However, the poor numbers don’t mean Fox can’t open a movie, says Hollywood.com box-office analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

“It may be a matter of just choosing the right projects for her,” he told the Associated Press. “She’s trying to find a world beyond Transformers, and she will. She’s young and has a lot of promise.”

Harrison Ford, 67, says he’s already ready for the globe-trotting archaeologist’s next adventure, only a year after one of history’s most successful film franchises was revived — and that the next chapter is already well on its way.

“The story for the new ‘Indiana Jones’ is in the process of taking form,” Ford told France’s Le Figaro. “Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”
