The makers of Sex & The City: The Movie have come under fire from New Yorkers - because they are not premiering the movie in the city.
The film will premiere in London, two weeks before it is unveiled in its spiritual home of New York on May 12th.
But the move by producers at New Line Cinema has sparked widespread criticism from those who believe the film should premiere in the city - the home of the award-winning TV series.
However, the company claims its New York premiere will be just as spectacular as the London opening with a huge party at the famous Radio City Music Hall on May 27th.
A spokesperson for the film company tells the New York Daily News, “It was simply a question of logistics and scheduling. We’re still planning the big premiere to be in New York. Everyone knows New York City is the fifth character. The city is the epicenter of all things Sex and the City.”

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter’s cult comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure is set for a remake, according to internet reports.
This time around, the hapless duo’s rock band is called Atomic Gorillas, not Wyld Stallions, and their time traveling brings them into contact with Gandhi and Calamity Jane, according to MovieHole.net.
The new film reportedly features an updated script with plenty of modern references and an homage to new Batman film The Dark Knight. Casting details have not been announced but it’s unlikely Winter or Reeves will play a part in the remake.
Would you go see it?

Rambo is heading to Bulgaria for a fifth film, according to internet reports.
Sylvester Stallone’s action man will return for one more adventure following the success of the actor/director’s recent Rambo. And Moviehole.net reports the streets of Bulgaria will double for Rambo’s native Arizona in what is likely to be the final installment of the franchise.
Bulgaria has reportedly been chosen because it’s much cheaper to film in Eastern Europe than it is in Arizona itself. Stallone’s iconic soldier was seen returning home to visit his father in Arizona at the climax of the most recent Rambo movie.

Long listed as merely Bond 22 while in pre-production, the newest installment of the James Bond series left many wondering what the official name of the film will be, including Bond himself, Daniel Craig. But when Quantum of Solace was finally confirmed as the flick’s title, the Brit was very pleased with the choice.
“I’m very happy with it. It came from an Ian Fleming short story,” he tells Extra. It encapsulates what the movie is at heart and a lot more which I can’t give any away.”
Production is currently underway on Quantum, which will definitely be more action-packed than Casino Royale, Daniel promises. How much more?
“[The stunts have] started to hurt,” Daniel, 40, says. “So I can only gauge it by how much pain I’m in and I think we’re doing pretty good.”
As for the Bond girls, gone are Eva Green and Ivana Milicevic, and in their place are Brit Gemma Arterton and Ukranian model-turned-actress Olga Kurylenko.
Gemma, 22, plays Agent Fields and says it’s “incredible” being on set. Twenty-eight-year-old Olga portrays Camille, who is “very driven. She has her own mission in the movie and, of course, she comes across Bond. They are opponents and then they have to work together. She’s very feisty.”
Quantum of Solace opens Nov. 7.

Actress Cameron Diaz and child star Abigail Breslin film scenes together in their upcoming movie ‘My Sister’s Keeper‘ in Los Angeles. Cameron hid from photographers all day and even got her security guard to block anyone getting pictures with an umbrella.
I’ve heard some disturbing news on the internet:
Received this e mail today:
I went to see Jodi Picoult at a book signing last night. She discussed how this book is being made into a movie. However, she informed us that they are changing the ending!! She was very upset about this and confronted the production company at which point she was told “readers don’t matter!” She is asking for the help of her fans. Please email these two people and tell them you want the ending to remain the same!

Change the ending!! That will just ruin the movie!! What do you guys think?

On the heels of ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘ winning three Academy Awards, Daily Variety reports that Universal Studios has wrangled Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass to commit to a fourth Jason Bourne film.
In junket interviews for ‘Ultimatum,’ Damon had implied he was done with the franchise after three movies. But huge box office and a close working relationship with Greengrass — who directed ‘The Bourne Supremacy‘ and ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘ — may have been the deciding factors in his choice to return.
Sunday night, ‘The Bourne Ultimatum‘ scored a hat trick with Oscars for Best Film Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing.
