Actress Minnie Driver is penning a tell-all book about her time in Hollywood!

Still only 42, Driver’s colorful career has included an Oscar nomination and a doomed relationship with Josh Brolin. Now the actress is ready to tell her story, and says, “I’m working on a memoir.I want to tell it from the view of someone who was normal, but whose life became abnormal.Hollywood is portrayed in this super glamorous way, but when I see pictures of actresses going off the rails, it does not surprise me at all”. Though best known for her stand-out performances in Grosse Pointe Blank and Good Will Hunting, Driver has struggled to find similar roles in recent years and her output in 2011 amounted to appearances in the light-hearted drama ‘Hunky Dory’ and television movie ‘Hail Mary’. She hit the headlines last week after revealing the father of her son Henry was a writer on the TV show ‘The Riches’. The actress had never previously disclosed the identity of the father to her 3-year-old.

Up until now, Minnie Driver has not revealed who the father of her three-year-old son is. The 42-year-old actress now says she “doesn’t need to protect him anymore” and announces the father of her son, Henry, was a writer on her former TV show “The Riches”.

She told The Observer Magazine, “He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up. We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity. He’s not famous. There’s no big story.

It had been rumored that Minnie was dating the TV writer when she found out she was pregnant. As soon as she found out she was with-child, he ended their relationship.

She still didn’t name the man by name, but she’s talking about him. “Is he a good dad? Sort of. He’s figuring it out… I mean, he hasn’t been that involved, his choice. But he is now.”

She would love to have more children, but she’s not wanting to do it on her own. “Henry’s dad and I probably wouldn’t have any more together, but I would love to have more. I couldn’t do another one without a partner; I couldn’t do two as a single mum, I really couldn’t. It would be too much.”

Minnie admits she was the product of an affair herself. She was one of two children who were the product of an affair between their millionaire father Ron Driver, and Minnie’s mother. Ron was married – and had another daughter – and they had no idea he was leading a double life.

How did Minnie cope being single during her pregnancy? ? “I had good friends around me, so it was sort of hilarious.”

Minnie Driver was seen out and about in LA on July 27. The 41-year-old actress still looks great!

But let’s forget about her for a second and zero in on that handbag she is carrying. So cute!
