ELLE pretty much nailed it with their first first Women in Comedy issue, because nothing says contemporary comedy like the NEW GHOSTBUSTERS! Very exciting. The new issue (on newsstands June 21st) features spreads and individual covers of Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Melissa McCarthy, as they talk about the most anticipated (and perhaps controversial) comedy of the year, Ghostbusters—in theaters July 15.

Check out these covers and let us know which one is your favorite! And how excited are you for this MOVIE?!?!

Melissa McCarthy And Her Husband Had Tons Of On-Set Makeouts

The 21st Annual Critics' Choice Awards in LA

I’m happy to say Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone are keeping things hot, but man, sounds like a lot when she’s the star/writer and he’s the writer/director…

According to the cast, there was a lot of love between the husband and wife team while shooting the film, complete with makeout sessions.

In a new behind-the-scenes promo, Kristen Bell, Kathy Bates, and Peter Dinklage talked about the fun on set environment created by Melissa and Ben, and also the romantic environment created by them. Peter Dinklage, who plays a dude from Darnell’s past, even quipped that the husband and wife team were “always making out on set.”

Married and co-workers! Hey, if it works it works. Click this link to hear what the rest of the cast thinks of working with the husband and wife team!

THIS Is The Secret To Melissa McCarthy’s Dramatic Weight Loss

Jennifer Lawrence at The 73rd Golden Globe Awards in LA

Melissa McCarthy looks GOOOOOD!

The actor has been looking svelte as of late but during a press conference for her new movie The Boss, the Ghostbusters actress revealed exactly how she achieved her slimmer figure, and that she’s a size 14 now! She basically said that her diet secret is…being really really boring.

She explained:

“No trick, nothing to tell, just super boring life. You bring it real down, you don’t do anything fun and you go to bed at 7:30 — that’s the trick.”

Ugh. I HATE this diet.

Despite her early schedule, Melissa reassured fans that her fashion line Melissa McCarthy Seven7 Collection is”going great!”

Good! The line is on the home shopping network and is very cute. I’m glad things are always coming up Melissa- she deserves it!

Melissa McCarthy Talks Body Image, Kids And Anti-Feminism DUMBNESS!

Melissa McCarthy is on the cover April’s Redbook Magazine, breaking hearts and taking names!

She’s promoting her film The Boss costarring Kristen Bell, which is out April 6th and her clothing line, which isn’t plus-sized specifically, just offers more range in the larger sizes. But she didn’t just promote her projects- she got REAL about feminism, body image, and her kids. Here are the highlights:

On talking to her daughters about body image
“Give me your best punch in the face, and I’ll take that punch, rather than have my kid feel bad about herself….There’s an epidemic in our country of girls and women feeling bad about themselves based on what .5% of the human race looks like. It starts very young. My message is that as long as everybody’s healthy, enjoy and embrace whatever body type you have.”

Her thoughts on young women who say, “I am not a feminist”
“I always think, ‘Oh, that sounds so dumb.’ And I don’t mean that in a hateful way. It just sounds so ill-informed. Do you think women should be paid less? You don’t believe in equality for women? I think people have worked hard to put a negative spin on the word.”

Why we should stop judging each other
“With women, there’s this constant weird cultural thing where we’re always supposed to be comparing ourselves with one another. Who wore it best? Whose butt’s better? Instead, how about if everyone wins? How intensely boring would it be if we were all the same?”

On the importance of all women feeling comfortable and stylish in their clothes
“A good portion of women in America are size 14 and higher. I just try to make clothing that’ll make all women feel really good….When I feel good about my clothes, I’m more patient with my kids. I don’t beep at the guy in his car texting in front of me. I look at the world a little differently. The small happy moments add up. A little bit of joy goes a long way.”

Lot of wisdom gong on up in here. I’m excited to see her movie but I also kinda dig her clothing line– she’s got some seriously cute stuff up in there.

What do YOU think of her interview?
