Spice Girl, Melanie Brown’s ex-husband has filed for custody of the couple’s nine-year-old daughter after the singer took her on tour with the Spice Girls. Dancer Jimmy Gulzar refused to alter his visitation schedule while Brown toured the globe with their daughter Phoenix Chi, but Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Robert Schnider blocked Gulzar’s attempt to stop the child from traveling and gave Brown the green-light to take Phoenix out of the U.S. Brown still maintains sole legal and physical custody of Phoenix, and Gulzar will have scheduled visitation over the next few months.

Robbed of the DWTS Mirrorball trophy, that is.  I know Helio Castroneves is adorable & all, but COME ON- Mel’s a better dancer by far!

Melanie Brown is preparing for a court showdown with former lover Eddie Murphy over maintenance for their daughter. The singer, 32, will discover how much the actor will give her in payments for their six-month-old daughter Angel Iris at a hearing in Los Angeles on November 14 - the day before the Spice Girls embark on their world tour.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “Eddie refuses to see Angel so this is important to her.”

Murphy publicly ended his relationship with Brown on Dutch television last year when Brown was five months pregnant. He subsequently denied being the father of Angel Iris until his paternity was proved by a DNA test.

I’m surprised nothing has been said about last night’s season premier of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars!  I’ll be honest- I’m obsessed with the show.  Each season’s cast has gotten better & better to watch.  Last night was no exception. 

It was ladies’ night yesterday & they were really good- especially that l’il Cheetah Girl.  I’ve gotta say, Jennie Garth was pretty good, too!  She might be my new favorite.  Go, Kelly Taylor!

Tonight the men perform & I can’t wait!  C’mon … who’s with me?

Looks like Melanie Brown a.k.a. Scary Spice has some mothering issues of her own. Her former housekeeper says that she left her newborn baby with her for the evening. Well an evening turned into a 4 day trip for Melanie to get married without informing her housekeeper of her whereabouts or when she was planning on returning. Apparently, Little Scary Spice was sick: “The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby.” says the former housekeeper/nanny for 4 days.

Of course Melanie B.’s attorney’s are denying this because why in the world would they admit to it and claiming “Melanie is a hands-on mother completely dedicated to the upbringing of her children and the well-being of her entire family. Any fictitious accusations to the contrary stem from greedy people looking to make a buck.”

It will be interesting to see how the child support hearing goes after this accusation.
