Maya Rudolph and Danny McBride recreate famous ‘Awkward Family Photos’ for GQ

Maya Rudolph and Danny McBride hilariously posed for a new ‘Awkward Family Photos’ pictorial in GQ Magazine. These awesome pictures are part of GQ’s June Comedy issue.

“With the child quotient, we were thinking we’d have to be on our best behavior. But then one of our daughters – cherubic face, 11 years old – started singing along to the filthiest, dirtiest southern rap,” explained the 40-year-old actress, of the hilarious photo shoot.

“We asked one of the girls in the Christmas picture if she still believed in Santa Claus,” laughed McBride.

“Everyone’s facing the camera, and she just whips around and is like: “Do you still believe in God?” Didn’t miss a beat,” added Rudolph.

Love it!

Maya Rudolph pregnant with her 4th child!

Maya Rudolph is pregnant with her fourth child!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress, 40, has informed her NBC bosses that she’s pregnant with her fourth child. The “Up All Night” star already has three children with her husband Paul Thomas Anderson; Pearl, 7, Lucille, 3, and Jack, only 19 months!

Sources also tell THR that Rudolph’s pregnancy is expected to be written into the revised version of the show, now that Christina Applegate has announced her departure. Still, “Up All Night” might not return to the small screen at all, considering the series’ writers are allegedly looking for new jobs.

Congrats to the couple!

I’m really interested to see what happens with “Up All Night.” I wonder if it can be saved.

Megan Fox, Melissa McCarthy, Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Rudd & more cover Vanity Fair’s “Comedy Issue”

We’re getting our first look January’s ‘Comedy Issue’ of Vanity Fair. The three covers showcase the hottest comedians right now (Megan Fox!?). The issue was guest-edited by Judd Apatow, writer/director of the huge hits ’40 Year Old Virgin’, ‘Knocked Up’, and the upcoming ‘This is 40’.

Some of the comedians featured on the covers include Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld. I just love all three! Here’s more from VF:

In Vanity Fair’s first-ever comedy issue, writer, director, and producer Judd Apatow convened his most talented friends and idols to contribute, write, and pose for a 19-page Mark Seliger portfolio—as well as act incredibly dignified and businesslike in costume for three different covers. Included are the stars of Apatow’s This Is 40, dressed as famous figures of 60s- and 70s-era variety shows like Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, with Leslie Mann in a bikini and body paint à la Goldie Hawn and Melissa McCarthy dressed as Lily Tomlin’s Edith Ann; Paul Rudd plays your oily show host, and Megan Fox is an alluring bellhop.

A second cover features Jim Carrey dressed up as Evel Knievel, Maya Rudolph doing an ancient Egyptian like Steve Martin in his King Tut days, Will Ferrell as a corny cowboy, and Amy Poehler as a 60s go-go girl. Finally, Kristen Wiig plays Cher to Ben Stiller’s Sonny on a final cover alongside Chris Rock, doing a Nipsey Russell thing, and Jerry Seinfeld, decked out in a Nehru jacket.

Apatow is only the third guest editor—after Bono, who guest-edited the Africa issue in July 2007, and Tom Ford, who guest-edited the Hollywood Portfolio in March 2006—since Graydon Carter became editor of the magazine 20 years ago. Says Carter in his editor’s letter this month, “It can reasonably be said that the comedy industry is booming these days, in movies, on television, and onstage. And who better to oversee an entire issue on the subject than one of the great impresarios of the business? . . . Judd was a terrific collaborator, brimming with suggestionsand infectious energy—precisely the sort of high-wattage, Hollywood-style enthusiasm that can alternately excite you and drive you a bit crazy.”

Conan O’Brien, Lena Dunham, Zach Galifianakis, Steve Martin, Mel Brooks, and Carl Reiner are just some of the legends past, present, and future that Apatow corralled for the Comedy Portfolio. Louis C.K. answers the Proust Questionnaire, and Jimmy Fallon stars in our Out to Lunch column.

I cannot WAIT to get my hands on this issue! Looooove it!

FIRST LOOK! Official movie poster for Judd Apatow’s ‘Bridesmaids’ revealed!

‘Bridesmaids’ is the new movie from director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow, the men behind such comedy sensations as ‘Knocked Up’ and TV’s ‘Freaks and Geeks.’

The movie stars Kristen Wiig as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony.

I cannot wait! I bet this is going to be hilarious!! This movie is Judd Apatow’s first movie with mostly women!
