Matt Damon, Chris Hemsworth and their wives vacation together in St. Barths.

Imagine how much fun it is sitting here – looking out the window to nothing but constant rain (seriously people, it will probably rain straight till June at this point) and sitting here in my sweater because I’m freezing, and having to suffer through these pictures looking at how beautiful rich people spend their winter.

‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth, and his newly pregnant wife Elsa Pataky, are joined by Matt Damon and his wife – on a rich-people vacation in St. Barths. The couple swam in the ocean, played in the surf, and lounged on their yacht. In fact, Elsa is under fire today after pictures surfaced yesterday of her plummeting down a steep slide off the top of their yacht. I was really shocked she actually did it, to be honest. The slide was very high – and very steep. If she managed to hit her stomach at the wrong angle, that could have been very bad! I just don’t understand taking the risk… but whatev. (You can see some of those pictures here)

I’m not bitter at all! Check out all the pictures below…

Daniel Craig, George Clooney and Matt Damon on the cover of Vanity Fair!

Daniel Craig, George Clooney and Matt Damon land the February cover of Vanity Fair, which was shot by Annie Leibovitz. The three actors sat down for Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire, and gave candid answers. I think they make a pretty hot cover, but I second Celebitchy’s sentiment in wanting to see Michael Fassbender or Ryan Gosling on the cover instead.

For the first time ever, Vanity Fair pits three of Hollywood’s most fascinating leading men against one another for that signature illuminating interrogation of ours, the Proust Questionnaire—and the monthly back-page feature proves even more revelatory when offered in triplicate, from George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Daniel Craig.

If George Clooney could choose what to come back as, it would be his dog—as the actor states, “he lives better.” The Descendants lead also admits to being displeased with his posture and considers patience the most overrated virtue.

Daniel Craig values patience in his friends above all, but doesn’t like his knees, and you’ll never guess what he considers his most treasured possession—but then, we can’t really be sure. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star admits that he lies when answering questionnaires.

Matt Damon, who played a widower twice this year, in Contagion and We Bought a Zoo, is focused on family off the camera—he says that he was happiest in bed making his four children and in the hospital watching them being born. He says that his greatest achievement is his marriage, that his real-life heroes are his parents, and that his favorite names are those of his wife and children. He and Clooney both wish they could play instruments, while the more practical Craig only wishes he had opposable toes.

George Clooney:

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Working in the Sudan.

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be? My dog — he lives better.

Matt Damon:

When and where were you happiest? In our bed, making our children, and in the hospital watching them being born.

What is your motto? ”Don’t be a d-bag.”

Daniel Craig:

What is your most marked characteristic? My third nipple.

What is the quality you most like in a man? A good mustache.

What is the quality you most like in a woman? A good mustache.

What is your most treasured possession? Apart from my penis and my health?

Scarlett Johansson, Matt Damon and more at the ‘We Bought a Zoo’ premiere!

‘We Bought a Zoo’ premiered in NYC last night, and the movie’s stars were on hand to promote the film. Scarlett Johansson wore a black Dolce & Gabbana dress, which I think looks pretty decent on her. Scarlett is the face of D&G.

Elle Fanning looks absolutely beautiful here. Matt Damon was also on hand with his wife.

‘We Bought a Zoo’ currently has a 56% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, meaning it’s getting very mixed reviews. I generally like the cheesiness of Cameron Crowe’s movies – but sometimes it’s still bad… no matter what. I’ll definitely see it, I just might not pay theater prices to do so. Here are some critic reviews.

Variety wrote, “Warm-blooded but largely lifeless.” Slant Magazine wrote, “Clichés and contrivances and corniness, oh my! With We Bought a Zoo, writer-director Cameron Crowe dives headfirst into the schmaltzy slop barrel.”

The Hollywood Reporter was nicer, “It doesn’t dodge the potholes of earnest sentimentality and at times overplays the whimsy. But the uplifting tale has heart, humanity and a warmly empathetic central performance from Matt Damon.”

Matt Damon Doesn’t Want You to Lust After His Shirtless Body

If you’ve been wondering why Matt Damon hasn’t gone shirtless for any of his movies since ‘Good Will Hunting,’ well, the actor just caught up with Parade and told them he’s purposefully been steering clear of showing off his pecks.

“On the first ‘Bourne’ movie, I was in the best shape of my life, and we purposely never did a shot of me with my shirt off. I try to stay away from the beefcake shots.”

“I was down by NYU getting a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and there were a bunch of college-age students working there. The girl at the counter said, ‘Oh, wow, I just loved you in ‘The Departed.” I said, ‘Thanks a lot.’ And she goes, ‘I know, I know, it was a long time ago.’ And I thought, well, there you go. Because to her, if she’s 19, it probably came out when she was 13 or 14, so it feels like a generation ago.”

Don’t worry, Matt. Even bald, the Starbucks barista isn’t the only one who still thinks you’re hot.

Matt Damon opens up about his dad’s battle with cancer

Matt Damon is a fabulous actor. An really fabulous Bostonian. And it just may be that he’s an even more SUPER fabulous son and family man!

“My family is so grateful for the care you’ve given us,” the Adjustment Bureau star said at a fundraiser last night for Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cancer Care Center, where his father, Kent, has been undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood.

“It’s deeply humbling to see how many people here are committing their lives to helping others,” Matt said. “We’ve lost some close personal friends to cancer in recent years, but I never thought it would happen to my dad, the marathon runner…It sucked.”

Happily, Kent Damon is currently in remission—and, apparently, a great mood.

“We try not to take this celebrity deal too seriously,” he joked, referring to his A-lister son. He told the crowd a story about opening up the paper to read about Matt’s Academy Award nominations for Good Will Hunting in 1997, and “there was a picture of Robert DuvallPeter Fonda, and Dustin Hoffman—then there was a picture of my 27-year-old son. He didn’t belong there with all these seasoned actors!”

Getting serious, however, Kent also said that his Boston-bred boy was “all you could ever for ask for in a son. It’s been a wonderful ride being his dad.”

Cue tears.

Matt actually succeeded his pops onstage, wondering “How do you follow that? My dad’s biggest fear is public speaking, and I’m like, ‘You’ve got cancer man!’

“When people ask me, “What’s so great about Boston?’ I say, ‘Oh, the people, the sports teams—actually, I’d start with the sports teams—[and] the hospitals,” the actor continued, according to the Boston Herald.

“But if you had ever heard of Mass General, you were raised to believe it was the best hospital in the world. You were raised to believe that the Red Sox would break your heart and that MGH was the best hospital in the world.”

Matt Damon Says Life Is Good

Celebrity dad Matt Damon just turned 40 and couldn’t be happier with his life, he shares.

“I’m very lucky. Right now, I’m at a place in my life where I feel completely on the right path. All of those bigger kind of questions have been answered for me, so now it’s just about enjoying living the life that I have chosen and I love that.”

Matt and wife Luciana share four daughters: Alexia, 12, Isabella, 4, Gia, 2, and Stella, 4 months.  His main concern nowadays is taking care of himself:

“What I really want now is health. To be healthy and to be there as much as I can and to hang out with my family.”

Matt Damon and Michael Douglas to play lovers in new Liberace film!

Acclaimed director Steven Soderbergh will direct Michael Douglas and Matt Damon in a Liberace biopic next summer.

The project, which has been on the back burner for over two years, is expected to finally get underway. The Ocean’s Eleven director has drafted Douglas to play the flamboyant pianist and Damon is taking on the part of Scott Thorson, Liberace’s alleged lover.

“It’s told from the perspective of Scott,” Soderbergh told MTV News last year. “We have this framing device in which he’s laying [the story] out for us. As a narrator, it feels like he has an agenda – and then when you get to the ending you realize, ‘Oh, it’s not what I thought.’”

Liberace vehemently denied being gay and successfully sued The Daily Mirror and Confidential in 1957 for implying he was gay.

The personal life of Liberace – especially his true sexuality – remains mysterious to this day. Born in Wisconsin, he started playing the piano at the age of four. In the early 1940s he performed his musical act of classical whimsy to New York audiences to some success, but hit the jackpot in Las Vegas where he earned millions with his lavish – some would say campy – musical productions. In 1982, Scott Thorson sued the pianist for $113 million in palimony – claiming the pair shared a home for five years. The court dismissed his claim, but he did receive a $95,000 settlement.

Liberace died at the age of sixty-seven in 1987 from AIDS-related complications. His noticeable rapid weight loss was attributed to a “watermelon diet” by his longtime manager.
