Mandy Moore made her National Movie Awards arrival this afternoon looking beautiful as ever!
The 27-year-old actress is amongst the nominees of the festival. ‘Tangled’ is up for Best Animated Film.

Mandy Moore, one of DJ AM’s former girlfriends, expressed her grief over losing a true friend.
“I am absolutely heartbroken,” she said in a statement to Usmagazine.com about her ex, Adam Goldstein, who was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday at the age of 36. “For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend.”
Moore, who married rocker Ryan Adams in March, only dated the celebrity DJ for two months in 2007. Still, they had remained close, and after he was badly burned in a September plane crash, she flew to his side. They rekindled their relationship for a brief period following the accident.
“To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement,” she continued. “My heart goes out to his loved ones.”
Moore, 25, wasn’t the only celebrity DJ AM dated. He had a high-profile romance with Nicole Richie — who is due to give birth to her second child with beau Joel Madden — for several years beginning in 2004. They were engaged in February 2005 but split a few months later.
Richie has not yet commented on DJ AM’s death.
Mandy Moore is a total pro when it comes to Lucky covers: “It’s my fourth time doing this and I’ve learned to expect two things: It’ll be easy and really, really fun,” said the 25-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, who arrived at our L.A. shoot in a low-key outfit of Current/Elliott jeans, a gray tee, and Loeffler Randall flats. True to her laid-back aesthetic, the newly married Moore (her spouse is alt-country rocker Ryan Adams) gravitated towards quietly chic pieces as she dug into our clothing racks and trays of jewelry. “I’m really into simple things I can grab and wear every day,” she said. “I get bored with anything too statement-y.”
ON HER MUSICAL INSPIRATION:
“I have this idea of living in Laurel Canyon in the early ‘70s and Carol King, Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, and the Zappos would just sort of hang out and jam with one another. It seems like such an ideal time to be an artist.”
ON HER FASHION INSPIRATION:
“My husband and I have been watching a lot of Moonlighting randomly. He introduced me to it and I have to say, I’m sort of obsessed with that era. Cybill Shepherd rocked some pretty unbelievable outfits.”
Singer and actress Mandy Moore says she’s not a size 0 because she’s ‘not 14 anymore’
She says: “I appreciate when there are other women out there who are beautiful and aren’t, you know, a pound. I feel lucky that I don’t feel pressure to have my whole life be controlled by whether I fit into a certain size.”
Mandy who says she’s generally comfortable with how she looks says that no one looks like their pictures all the time and that stars have alot of help to look the part ” When you’re a star, you have professionals who make you look a certain way. I can’t roll out of bed and look that way.”
Finally she says that we should embrace our differences instead of holding one or two people up as ‘ideal’ because it isn’t realistic, and she’s happy to represent the non-0 side of things:
“I’m very comfortable with the way that I look, but it’s not fair for women to use someone or something as a bar. It’s not reality, for anyone. I am happy to be myself and represent something different for women.”

“The music is all a reflection of me now, not somebody else’s choices.”
