Former Friends star Lisa Kudrow has been offered the chance to return to a surefire TV hit after failing to make waves as a struggling actress. The beloved star, who played Phoebe in the hit sitcom, has been slated to star alongside Kate Walsh in the new Grey’s Anatomy spin-off.

Kudrow, whose first post-Friends show, The Comeback, was a flop (even though I totally LOVED it), lasting only a season, will play a quirky doctor on the new TV drama, according to sources.

That would be great!!

Friends star Lisa Kudrow is heading back to NBC. Kudrow and her producing partner, Dan Bucatinsky, have signed a two-year development deal with her old network, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The pair are already developing a TV adaptation of the book But Enough About Me and Kudrow is said to be open to starring in a project if the right one comes along. Kudrow’s last endeavor, HBO’s The Comeback (which I LOVED), was cancelled due to low ratings.
