Anyhoo, the big Kardashian gossip today is that Kris Humprhies is looking to have his marriage annulled, rather than grant her a divorce. People is reporting that Kris will be filing papers to seek an official separation from Kim within days. Ultimately Kris is looking for an annulment, according to People’s sources. US Weekly spoke with Kris’ reps, and here’s what they had to say.

Kris Humphries plans to respond to Kim Kardashian’s Oct. 31 divorce filing with a counterstrike of his own. A rep for the NBA star, 26, confirms to Us Weekly that Humphries will seek a legal separation from Kardashian, 31 — ultimately leading, he hopes, to an annulment of their 72-day union.

If Humphries gets his way, the couple will avoid divorce proceedings altogether.

Kardashian and Humphries tied the knot Aug. 20 in Montecito, Calif.; an ironclad prenuptial agreement guarantees that the reality starlet will hold onto all moneys earned during their marriage.

Humphries, whose prospects have opened once again now that the NBA lockout has ended, recently signed an endorsement deal with Sector watches worth $150,000.

Pals told Us that Humphries freeloaded off of his wife and could be downright cruel during their short-lived union.”He belittled her in front of people,” one insider said. “He’d call her stupid. It was truly sickening.”

“He tried to control Kim by bringing her down…He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn’t last.”

Worst of all? Humphries even called the star “fat ass.”

Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian grace the January 2012 cover of Glamour Magazine. In these pictures, they toned down Kim’s plastic face, which is nice…. but Khloe looks – worse? I don’t know – these certainly aren’t her best pictures. It just points out how incredibly different she looks than her sisters!

The pictures were taken before Kim’s divorce bombshell was dropped in October, but the interview took place after.

Kim Kardashian: …I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic.
Glamour: What do you mean by that?
Kim Kardashian: It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.
Khloé Kardashian: I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it. She has that dream every girl has.
Kim Kardashian: Well, I don’t think I have it right now.
Khloé Kardashian: Which is fine, but I’m your sister and I know why you don’t have it right now. But I know you will get it again.
Kim Kardashian: I hope I do. But by then I hope maybe I’m a little bit more realistic.

Glamour: Realistic about what?
Kim Kardashian: The fact that what I want isn’t possible.
Khloé Kardashian: What, a guy on a white horse coming to get you? That doesn’t happen!
Kim Kardashian: I don’t know. I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three…and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any. Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt.
Khloé Kardashian: But Mom and Dad got a divorce, and she met Bruce. And you were a child; you don’t know what Mom and Dad had. As an outsider looking in, it probably looked like paradise.
Kim Kardashian: At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that.
Khloé Kardashian: Oh my God. Don’t be dramatic all of a sudden!
Kim Kardashian: That’s how I feel. Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would. But that’s OK.

Don’t you just love how Kim is broken now? She no longer has the fairy tale dream anymore? Now she may not have any kids, she may just be an old maid. It’s obvious this interview was done right after all this crap went down. The interview is just annoying, if you ask me.

Page Six also points out that Kim’s marriage/divorce drama has boosted the ratings for Kourtney and Kim Take New York – the show “drew 3.2 million viewers in its second-season debut Sunday, up 6 percent from the first-season premiere.” Sources tells Page Six that Kim “can’t bear watching the footage of her and Kris fighting… It is very hard for her to watch. It forces her to relive what went wrong in her marriage.” Kim and Kris Humphries are still not talking – “They are only communicating through lawyers. They won’t become friends, but they are not enemies.” And Kris Humphries believes the show has been edited to make him look like a monster – “It is completely staged. He went from being sweet and playful to verbally abusive and mean-spirited. It is no coincidence that Kris Jenner is an executive producer. They are doing this to save Kim’s career.” An E! rep told Page Six: “Completely false.”

Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Zoe Saldana and Kirk Douglas were all on hand on Wednesday to help serve dinners to the homeless at the Los Angeles Mission Thanksgiving Dinner.

Last week there were reports that momager Kris Jenner had put Kim on “media lockdown” – and was making Kim take a couple months off from being in the public eye. Guess that didn’t last. Also, Celebitchy reports that Kim is rumored to have done a sit-down interview with Allure Magazine. Hmmm…

Kris is having Kim sit back and look like the victim (who serves the homeless) while Kris runs his mouth off, apparently calling Kim a “fat ass” and looking to sue his soon-to-be-ex-wife for playing him a fool.

Anyway here are pictures from the event on Wednesday. Well, at least Kim and J. Love have something in common, they’re both single.

Kim Kardashian may be going through a rough time in her personal life, but there is one thing she’s particularly thankful for this Thanksgiving: her family.

“I think the holidays are just about winding down and spending time with your family,” the reality star tells PEOPLE Wednesday at the Los Angeles Mission Thanksgiving Dinner, where she was on hand to help serve food.

“That’s what it’s going to be about this year for me.”

Kardashian, 31, will be joining the rest of her close-knit clan – including Dancing with the Stars runner-up Rob – for a potluck Thanksgiving meal at mother Kris Jenner’s house.

“We’re each cooking a dish, bringing it over and just hanging out,” says Kardashian, 31, who already knows what her culinary contribution will be.

“I’m going to make the sweet potato soufflé,” she shares. “It’s really good!”

Poor Kim Kardashian has been getting a bad rap ever since she filed for divorce from husband Kris Humphries. Kim has been vilified – and she does not deserve it – OK!? According to US Weekly, Kris was the real villain. He was really mean, okay you guys!

Kim Kardashian has been raked over the coals in the court of public opinion ever since she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries. But the real villain in the 72-day marriage, pals tell Us Weekly, was the out-of-work NBA star.

“He belittled her in front of people,” one insider tells Us. “He’d call her stupid. It was truly sickening.”

The source adds that Humphries resented his wife’s fame and fortune. “He tried to control Kim by bringing her down…He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn’t last.”

He even took exception to her world-famous posterior, calling her “fat ass,” the source says.

And when Kardashian (who rarely drinks and tends to go to bed early) asked her man to skip the nights out in favor of quality time, “He would tell her she was acting like too much of a wife and ‘get over it,’” another insider says.

Funny thing is – if this story is true – then Kris is right. She doesn’t have any real talent – and her fame will NOT last! She’s one of the few celebrities who’s famous for being famous! Best thing that ever happened to her was that sex tape! Poor, poor Kim.

According to Life & Style, Kim Kardashian‘s estranged husband Kris Humphries is planning on suing her, while his father tells the magazine that his baller son got used by the reality star.

An insider allegedly told the magazine that Kris has hired lawyers to see what his options are as far as his placement in the Kardashian brand goes, possibly taking his ex-wife to court for $10 million.

“Kris has a legal team investigating his options. He’s claiming his role on Kourtney & Kim Take New York is bigger than he was told, and that’s why he wants more money. But Kris is also suing because he’s really worried about how badly he’s going to be portrayed on the series.”

Kris may be worried about footage that shows him poking fun at Kim’s bestie Johnathan Cheban about his sexual preference.

Midway through the season, Kris starts bullying Kim’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban, about his sexuality. Jonathan isn’t gay, but Kris accuses him of being gay and criticizes him for it in a really homophobic way. Jonathan is really upset.”

“Kris used the word ‘gay’ as an insult, to try and hurt Jonathan. He’s the lowest of the low bullying someone like this.”

Though he can’t stop the premiere, his lawyer Lee Hutton III is doing his best to stop any negative footage from being portrayed from this point forward.

Kris, his family and his friends maintain that much of Kris’ appearance on Kourtney & Kim was scripted — including scenes in which he ponders Jonathan’s sexuality — and that he’s not homophobic. “Little did Kris know that he was being set up,” his father, William Humphries, tells Life & Style exclusively. “Kris got used –100 percent used.”
