Well, for those of you that are hopelessly holding out hope that the Katy Perry/Russell Brand split rumors weren’t true, it looks like I’ve got some bad news for you. Yesterday Russell was spotted in London, (7,000 miles from where his wife, Katy Perry spent her Christmas in Hawaii with friends) without his wedding ring on. Lots of people (myself included) jumped on the ‘HE’S NOT WEARING HIS WEDDING RING!!!’ bandwagon. Okay I could have been persuaded to believe he simply forgot his ring.

And then today rolls around, and he steps out AGAIN in London without his wedding ring. So it’s obviously deliberate, him not wearing a wedding ring. Unless he LOST his ring, or some other completely unbelievable story, I would say the split rumors are true.

Now – I wonder WHY they’re splitting. Any guesses?

Is Katy Perry on her way to becoming a single woman?

According to rumors being spread like wildfire, things aren’t going well between Katy Perry and her husband Russell Brand.

A source confirms to E! News that Katy and Russell have been having “problems” and that they’ve been spending “a lot of time apart,” including Christmas.

Sure enough, the “Teenage Dream” singer was spotted swimming sans her hubby in Hawaii over the holiday weekend while Russell was reportedly in England.

Our source adds that things began getting tense between the two in early December and that Katy has been “a mess” about it at times.

Here’s hoping the new year will be a better one for the entertaining couple.

This is one rumor I really hope isn’t true. I really do believe they’ve hit a rocky patch – I just hope they can work through it.

There are plenty of rumors floating around right now about the state of Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s marriage. Several “sources” claim the couple is just shy of splitting, while others (Katy included) deny anything’s wrong in the first place.

US Weekly is reporting that instead of flying to London to be with her family and husband on Christmas, she instead opted to fly to Hawaii and spend her holiday with close friends. According to sources, Katy and Russell got into a “massive fight”, which ended in them separating for the holiday.

It was Christmastime fireworks for Katy Perry and Russell Brand this year — but not the good kind!

After planning to whisk her family via private jet to husband Brand’s London hometown for the holidays, Perry, 27, changed course, opting to fly to Hawaii with friends.

“They had a massive fight,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.’”

Which explains why, come Dec. 25, the multi-platinum singer was snapped splashing in the Pacific Ocean off Kauai — sans wedding ring. Meanwhile, British comic Brand, 36, was catching up with a pal in a pub in chilly Coverack, Cornwall.

Though the pair denied divorce rumors in November, sources say trouble is brewing. “They haven’t split up just yet, but things are not good,” says the first source. “The fighting is getting worse.”

At issue? Among other things, explains another source: “Katy doesn’t think Russell respects her parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends.”

So will the couple — who wed in October 2010 after a whirlwind courtship — make it through 2012? Says the first source, “The split may come soon, but they are both so dramatic and volatile, the relationship could become great again.”

It seems like someone is on damage-control-duty, because People claims to have their own sources who say Russell and Katy were in Hawaii together – and were totally happy.

It was no white Christmas for Katy Perry.

The newly blonde “Teenage Dream” singer, 27, soaked up some tropical sun on Sunday, flaunting her body in an itty-bitty bikini while frolicking through the ocean in Hawaii.

The pop star was vacationing on Kauai in a private rented luxury villa.

As for the two, an onlooker tells us, “Katy and Russell looked very happy when they stepped off their private plane in Kauai before Christmas weekend.”

During her time at the beach, Perry was joined by BFF Markus Molinari, among other friends. (Russell was not pictured in the photos at the beach.) And she appeared to enjoy the water, while also taking time to relax on the sand.

I’m not sure which side to believe. I would think if Katy and Russell were in Hawaii together – there would be pictures to prove it. Anytime the two of them go anywhere – they are photographed up the ying yang. And I saw the pictures of Katy swimming – and she definitely didn’t have her wedding ring on. I know this doesn’t mean anything, really….. or does it?

I think these pictures prove what she keeps denying. Katy Perry is pregnant!

Katy was pictured yesterday promoting her new perfume, ‘Meow’, and in these pictures you can clearly see a baby bump. It doesn’t look at all like she’s bloated – or whatever – that there looks like a good ol’ fashioned baby bump!

In other Katy news, Barbara Walters named the singer one of her ‘Most Fascinating People of 2011′.

Pop star Katy Perry told Walters her music is a departure from her conservative Christian upbringing.

“Everything I do is a bit slightly forbidden,” the 27-year-old said.

Perry’s parents were former hippies turned evangelical pastors — her mother once dated Jimi Hendrix, and her father is a recovered drug dealer.

“I’d heard it in his sermons because it’s a part of his testimony,” she said. “Then I started to register, ‘oh, yeah, their lives were very colorful before this very black-and-white world.’”

In that “black and white world,” the only music in their strict Christian household was gospel music, and the only book, the Bible. Deviled eggs were known as “Angeled eggs” in her household.

“I still call them Angeled eggs,” Perry said.

“When I was a little girl, I kind of thought that our world, my family’s world, was the only type of world that existed. I had no idea that there was, you know, rock and roll or MTV … we had television but it was very censored. If people were about to kiss, I would never see that actual kiss. It would be changed the next second, but I didn’t know that at the time.”

Katy Perry celebrated the end of her eight-month-long California Dreams tour by chopping her hair off in an adorable bob!!

At the Change Begins Within Benefit Celebration in Los Angeles Saturday, the singer debuted a dramatically short new haircut and a baby pink color that looks much lighter than the bubblegum hue she sported at the 2011 American Music Awards November 21.

With her hubby Russell Brand at her side, the star covered up in a white knee-length Versace sheath with gold embellishments and matching heels at the event benefiting filmmaker David Lynch’s foundation for Transcendental Meditation.

I think this is the best Katy Perry has ever looked! I love the short cut, I even love the baby pink hue! And she looks gorgeous in that Versace dress!

You know what they say?! A couple that gets inked together, stays together.

In a bid to shake off those divorce rumors making the rounds, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have taken to a couples inking session.

Katy & Rusty posed for photos of their tattoo party proving that they are still more in love than ever. The ink fest took place backstage following Katy’s concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last week.

The California girl chose a smiling peppermint candy for her foot while Russell opted for a West Ham United Football team logo on his arm and the artist responsible was celebrity tattooist Bang Bang who has also inked Rihanna and Chris Brown.

This is skin deep love.

There is definitely something in the Hollywood water as celebs left and right are revealing baby bumps and announcing pregnancies. The latest to announce she is ready to start a family is our California girl, Katy Perry.

The multi-award winning singer will be wrapping up her 122-day California Dreams Tour with a free concert at the Staples Centre on November 23, 2011 and after she hangs up her tour boots she will be taking at least one year off to start a family with her comedian hubby Russell Brand.

Katy and Rusty recently celebrated their one year anniversary and when Katy appeared on The Ellen Show she revealed her desire for wanting a family.

“I would love to have children. I think that’s one of the reasons you get married. Especially to the person that you marry. You think, that person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.”

She has also revealed that she will have as many babies as long as the pain is bearable: “If it doesn’t hurt the first time, I’ll keep popping them out.”

We can’t wait to see her little Brandies!!
