Seth Rogen and Knocked Up director Judd Apatow are still miffed over former costar Katherine Heigl knocking the hit blockbuster.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2007, Heigl famously remarked that the comedy “paints the women as shrews,” while the men look “lovable.” She added, “It was hard for me to love the movie.” (She later said she was “disheartened” her remarks became “the focus of my experience with the movie.”)

But Rogen says he doesn’t see how Heigl’s new comedy, The Ugly Truth, makes women look even better.

“That [movie] looks like it really puts women on a pedestal in a beautiful way,” he quipped on Howard Stern’s SIRIUS XM radio show on Thursday.

Added Apatow, “I hear there’s a scene where she’s wearing … Underwear …with a vibrator in it, so I’d have to see if that was uplifting for women.”

Apatow figured Heigl was “probably was doing six hours of interviews and kissing everyone’s a**, and then just got tired and slipped a little bit” when she made the remarks to Vanity Fair.

Regardless, Rogen said, “I didn’t slip and I was doing f****** interviews all day too … I didn’t say s***!”

Even more baffling, said Apatow, “We never had a ‘fight’” with Heigl while filming. “Seth always says, it doesn’t make any sense [because] she improvised half her s***,” Apatow said, adding that she “could not have been cooler.”

Apatow said he hasn’t spoken to Heigl since her remarks. He doesn’t know if he’d make a big deal about it, either.

“It all depends on how much coffee I have had that day,” he said. “If I was fighting … with someone else about something I may handle it wrong, and if I’m in like total Buddha mood, I’d be like ‘I feel sad that she hasn’t learned the lesson of her journey yet,’” he said.

After the remark, “[You think] at some point I’ll get a call saying ‘Sorry, I was tired…’ and then the call never comes,’” he said.

Rogen said he doesn’t feel bad since Heigl seems to run her mouth and most people, including Grey’s Anatomy staff.

“I gotta say it’s not like we’re the only people she said some bat **** crazy things about,” he said. “That’s kind of her bag now.”

According to an insider, Katherine Heigl has informed Grey’s Anatomy producers that she and her husband Josh are trying to start a family, so that her pregnancy can be written into the show’s storyline.

“They are ready for a child,” says the insider. “She gave her TV bosses a heads-up, just in case she gets pregnant soon.”

Katherine and Josh reportedly also plan to adopt a child from Korea (where Katherine’s sister was adopted from), but Korean law requires that a couple be married for three years prior to adopting. Since they’ve only been married for a year and a half, they’re trying for a biological baby first. Says an insider, “They are hoping for a big family.”

How does Gerard Butler deal with those pesky Jennifer Aniston relationship rumors?

By joking about it.

“Conan [O'Brien] asked me about Aniston, who is my costar in the movie I’m making now, and I just said, ‘Yeah, we’re getting married. What the he–,” Butler tells Parade magazine.

“Tell a joke, that’s my technique,” he continues. “I learned as a kid how to stay out of trouble: make it funny.”

He also kids about walking down the aisle with a few other women.

“I’m careful to also say that I’m marrying Cameron Diaz and maybe Joan Rivers,” says Butler, who was briefly linked to Diaz in April 2008. “I like to tell everyone I’m going to be a busy guy.”

Butler wasn’t as smooth with his The Ugly Truth costar, Katherine Heigl.

“Truthfully, one time I was supposed to play with Katherine’s hair and I kept forgetting my lines,” he explains. “I was so nervous that I grabbed her breast. Afterwards, all I could do is say ‘I’m sorry.’ Yeah.”

But later?

“We went back to our trailer and made out after the dancing scene,” he quips.

Trust Katherine Heigl on this one – it’s no picnic faking an orgasm for the big screen.

She felt she’d been put through the wringer on the set of The Ugly Truth the day she filmed a sequence which her admiring co-star, Gerard Butler, predicts “will go down in the annals of history in comedies because it’s a classic scene.”

Heigl hopes that will definitely prove the case when The Ugly Truth romps into theatres on Friday. The verdict is still out as to whether she succeeds in trumping Meg Ryan’s celebrated moment of simulated rapture in When Harry Met Sally, but Heigl makes clear that she gave her scene – which involves a restaurant dinner party, vibrating underwear and a remote-control device operated by an innocent kid – her all.

“Oh my god, it was a nightmare,” giggles Heigl who reveals that the scene required 35 set-ups. And yes, she may have been faking her eruptions – but it was still physically exhausting.

“It’s so much physical movement, with the legs dancing under the table and all the tensing up of the body . . . At the end of the day, I felt I had done a marathon. I thought I had run 20 miles. Then I went: OK, I know why this is called ‘physical’ comedy because it’s so physical and exhausting. No one wants to orgasm 35 times!”

Co-star Butler notes that the scene has been breaking up audiences at preview performances. “I don’t know many people who don’t love it. It’s one of the most brilliant performances I’ve ever seen. Katherine was – dare I say – bang-on.”

Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl had to evacuate the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles Saturday night.

The Ugly Truth costars were told to leave their rooms while police were investigating a bomb scare.

People reports:

While police were investigating a bomb scare at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles, actors Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler, inside the hotel promoting their upcoming film, The Ugly Truth, were forced to evacuate, along with 400 other guests.

For two hours, the stars mingled with fans outside the luxury hotel before retreating to the nearby Il Cielo restaurant. Butler, one eye witness tells PEOPLE, was spotted posing for pictures with members of the AC Milan soccer team, in town to play the Los Angeles Galaxy Sunday night. Heigl, barely recognizable with her hair dyed red, was seen leaving the hotel during the 1:45 p.m. evacuation.

Police investigated the premises and found no unattended packages or luggage and the hotel reopened two hours later. The bomb threat was delivered via telephone, police told PEOPLE.

The Ugly Truth will be released in North America on July 24, 2009
