Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley have completed their adoption of a baby girl from Korea.
Heigl spokeswoman Melissa Kates says the couple named the 10-month-old Nancy Leigh, after the actress’s mother Nancy and her sister Margaret Leigh. The girl will go by the nickname Naleigh.
She’s adorable!

Yesterday I reported that Katherine Heigl and her husband of almost two years Josh Kelley were planning on adopting a Korean baby. Well, it’s been confirmed! Katherine stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show, in an episode to air on Friday, and admitted that they are in fact adopting a ten month old baby girl! They are adopting a special-needs girl from Korea. Katherine’s sister, Nancy, was also adopted from Korea.
“It is a little girl and she’ll be 10 months at the end this month. She was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign. I realized just recently that I basically forfeited my birthday for the rest of my life. Her name is Naleigh. Well, I am naming her after my mother and sister Nancy, Leigh. So we call her Naleigh.”
Heigl’s new daughter will arrive “real soon”. ” I wanted to tell everybody so you don’t think I stole a Korean baby,” she said, laughing.

Well, that would explain why she was buying baby equipment earlier this month!
A new report from RadarOnline.com says Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley are adopting a baby this week from Korea. Sources tell the site the Grey’s Anatomy star will be welcoming a girl, Nayleigh, who is around 10 months old.
According to a source, the baby is approximately 10 months old.
“She is thrilled,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She and Josh are so happy.”

Katherine Heigl has finally kicked her cigarette habit – she’s gone without her daily nicotine fix for over a month.
The Knocked Up star, 30, has been desperately trying to ween herself off the addiction for months after realising smoking was taking over her life.
She previously said, “I started smoking when I was 24, because I’m an idiot. I don’t enjoy it so much now, because I’ve become such a slave to it. I hate planning my life around when I’m getting a cigarette.”
But Heigl has not puffed on a cigarette since quitting tobacco in July – and her health has already been given a boost.
A source tells Us Weekly magazine, “She feels so much better.”

Entertainment Weekly’s EW.com has learned that Katherine Heigl won’t have to worry about putting in long hours on the Grey’s Anatomy set for much longer. Sources confirm to Michael Ausiello exclusively that the actress is taking a five-episode hiatus from the ABC drama to go shoot the Greg Berlanti-directed romantic comedy Life as We Know It.
ABC and Grey’s producers have accommodated Heigl’s busy film schedule before, but this is the first time they have given her permission to leave the show for an extended period of time. Heigl’s absence will be explained on screen, although it’s not clear what prompts Izzie to take off. (Marital trouble with Alex? A trip home to see mom? A Denny sighting in the Caribbean?)
The fact that Heigl was granted such a lengthy leave of absence is surprising in light of the public tongue-lashing ABC president Stephen McPherson gave her last month for complaining about a 17-hour work day. Also, Heigl’s departure — which starts this month and will kick in on screen around November — will almost certainly overlap with co-star Ellen Pompeo’s maternity leave. Translation: Grey’s will be without Izzie and Meredith at the same time!
Of course, Grey’s boss Shonda Rhimes said over the summer that change would be in the air this season. ”Eventually, everybody is going to leave the show,” admitted the exec, citing T.R. Knight’s exit and the temporary loss of Pompeo. ”So we’re looking at [ways] we can mess with the structure now…. Season 6 is about finding the longevity of the show and figuring out if there is a future for this show beyond these characters.”
Not so coincidentally, Grey’s recently announced it was adding three new doctors to its rotation: Nota Zehetner, Robert Baker, and Jesse Williams are joining the cast as recurring residents/medical professionals.

Anything we should know, Katherine Heigl? The habitual smoker sucks on a lollipop has she and husband Josh Kelley pick up a baby buggy in Beverly Hills, then shop for rugs.
