A lot has happened since Jon and Kate Gosselin announced their plans to divorce on their TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8. What can the family’s fans expect to see when the reality series returns Aug. 3 in the first episode since the Gosselins’ split?

“You’ll see Jon struggle in the kitchen trying to make pizza for his kids,” TLC General Manager and President Eileen O’Neill said at the Television Critics Association panel in Pasadena, Calif., on Thursday. “You’ll see what its like when Kate has to put a tent up for the first time for her kids, who love to camp in their backyard. And she gets a little advice from her daughter who doesn’t think she does it quite as well as dad.”

O’Neill did not indicate, however, whether some of the new people in the Gosselins’ orbit — namely the women Jon has been spotted with, former gossip reporter Kate Major and Hailey Glassman — will be featured on the show.

While Jon recently told People that he’s “single — per se” and, “I don’t want to introduce anyone [I'm dating] to my kids,” he didn’t say whether he’d introduce them to fans of the show.

“As far as new people and places that may be cycling into Jon and Kate’s lives, we’re taking it on a case-by-case basis,” O’Neill told reporters.

“Jon and Kate have never said they were perfect,” O’Neill added. “You’re still going to see two parents that love their kids, but you’ll see them parenting separately.”

Since splitting from wife Kate, being careful with his family’s money doesn’t seem to be a priority for Jon Gosselin. On July 24, Jon was partying it up at the Pink Elephant nightclub in Southampton, N.Y. Days earlier, Jon was spotted purchasing a pair of $950 shoes from NYC boutique Pravda Abbigliamento on Madison Avenue. “He told us to call him if we got in anything else he might be interested in,” store owner Philip Pravda tells Life & Style.

The single life hasn’t only turned Jon into a big spender, it’s made him greedy for more. “Jon is sure Kate’s keeping money from him, more than a million dollars,” an insider close to Jon tells Life & Style. “He thinks some of the money she’s made from her books and tours has been put someplace where he can’t access it.” Jon’s friend confirms, “Jon says he found out Kate had been hiding about $100,000 in cash in the house.”

Rather than confront Kate about it, Jon’s leaving it to his lawyers to fight for him. “It’s turned into an all-out war over money,” the insider says. “Jon says Kate’s books and speaking engagements were based on their children and their relationship, so he rightfully deserves a cut.” Kate disagrees. “As far as she’s concerned, this is money she’s made by herself,” the insider says. “She doesn’t want him to get a cent of it.”

Life & Style has learned that the newly divorced Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Jon Gosselin has retained representation: of the publicity variety!

When asked last night if he’s dating Kate Major instead of his recent companion Hailey Glassman, Jon told Life & Style: “You’ll have to call Rubenstein.”

Rubenstein Communications is a New York-based firm that has also represented David Letterman, Donald Trump, Alex Rodriguez and Christie Brinkley. A call to Rubenstein confirmed that the firm is now representing Jon.

Kendra Wilkinson won’t be tuning in to TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 when the show returns from hiatus Aug. 3.

“We don’t watch that anymore,” she tells E! News. “I watched back when it was good and they weren’t all Hollywood. I feel bad for the kids.”

The 24-year-old reality star — who is expecting her first child with husband Hank Baskett on Christmas Day — previously told Usmagazine.com that she would never allow her new baby to appear on her hit E! show Kendra.

“That will be all private,” she told Us. “I want to be able to spend my quality time with what’s been growing inside of me for nine months!”

On Wednesday, it was announced that Wilkinson and Baskett have signed on to star in a second, 12-episode season of her E! show.

When Hailey Glassman arrived at her parents home in New City, N.Y., on May 4 for an early Mother’s Day surprise, she had a surprise of her own: Jon Gosselin, star of Jon & Kate Plus 8, was staying there.

Why? Gosselin, 32, a family friend since Hailey’s father, plastic surgeon Lawrence Glassman, performed Kate Gosselin’s tummy tuck operation following the birth of her sextuplets, was trying to escape the tensions at the home he shared with Kate in Wernersville, Pa.

According to a source close to Jon Gosselin, “Jon was heartbroken, totally heartbroken. Kate told him to take a hike.”

‘Kate Was Done’
The source says Jon and Hailey, already acquaintances, began their romance only after Kate filed for divorce on June 20.

According to the source. although the public did not know it, Jon and Kate actually split up late last year: “She said she wanted her life. She said she was done. It came out of the blue.”

Soon afterwards, Jon moved out of the couple’s bedroom and slept elsewhere in the house – and started going out to clubs and bars.

New Life in New York
Reporters spotted him out with 23-year-old teacher Deanna Hummel last spring, but there was never an affair between the two, the Jon source insists. As the trouble at home grew unavoidable, Jon moved out of the main house and into the apartment above the Gosselin’s three-car garage.

Today, Jon and Kate talk to each other only about their kids, the source says. And now that Jon has rented an apartment in New York City, says the source, expect to see Glassman and Gosselin spending time together in Manhattan.

Why is 32-year-old Jon Gosselin dating a woman 10 years his junior?

The father of eight is desperate to “feel young again,” a pal tells the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands now.

Jon recently bragged to another friend: “I’m bringing back my good ol’ high school days!”

Indeed: While announcing his split from Kate on their reality show last month, Jon pointed out, “I have a new chapter in my life — I’m only 32!”

Hailey Glassman, 22, likes to have a good time.

“Let’s say school wasn’t a first priority. She was always at parties, drinking, smoking…crazy girl,” a friend recalls in the new Us. Glassman — the daughter of the plastic surgeon who did Kate’s free tummy tuck — was arrested in 2005 for pot possession, cited in 2007 for illegal consumption of alcohol and, that same year, had her license suspended after she failed to appear in court for not wearing a seatbelt.

The couple came out publicly by holding hands while boarding Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier’s yacht in St. Tropez last week. They downed five pricey bottles of champagne, shacked up in a luxe room at the $2,515-a-night Chateau de la Messardiere Hotel and hit local hot spots.

“Christian parties like a rock star,” says a staffer of Audigier. “And Jon [was] keeping right up with him.”

Kate — who stayed home with the kids — has noted Jon’s new lifestyle. In her divorce papers, she wrote, “Jon’s actions have left me no choice.”

Jon and Kate Gosselin reunited Thursday afternoon for the first time since he took new girlfriend Hailey Glassman on a luxe getaway to France.

The exes were spotted hanging out in the driveway of their $1.1 million Pennsylvania home with two of their sextuplets. Jon drank Vitamin Water, while Aaden sucked on a popsicle. (They were last together on the fourth of July.)

While Kate lives at the home full-time, Jon stops by when he has visitation. “We flip-flop that way,” Kate explained on the same episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 they announced their split.

Jon was also seen playing with two of his girls Wednesday at the home.

On Tuesday, he landed in New York City without his new 22-year-old gal pal.

When asked by photographers what ex Kate thinks of party girl Glassman (the daughter of the surgeon who performed her 2006 tummy tuck), Jon said, “I guess you’d have to ask Kate.”

He then added that he’s “not allowed” to discuss the relationship. “I don’t want to get in trouble,” he said.
