It’s been confirmed that real-life married couple Kelly Preston and John Travolta will play Mr. and Mrs. John Gotti Sr. in the film adaptation of the Gotti family’s life. Kelly has just been added to play Victoria Gotti in the film, Gotti: Three Generations, along with their daughter, 11-year-old Ella Bleu, who will play Angel Gotti, daught to John and Victoria.

The production company, Fiore Films, spoke of 48-year-old Kelly’s inclusion in the film, saying:

“She’s a terrific actress, and she can really do the role justice.”

“The love and passion between John and Kelly … will bring a huge benefit to John Sr. and his wife, and to tell you the truth, they have a lot in common. They both lost a child at a young age and they understand what the Gottis went thru when the Gottis lost their child.”

Though the media has been heavily paying attention to whether Lindsay Lohan will take part in the picture (it’s reported that she will, as Kim Gotti, wife of John Gotti, Jr.), John Travolta was announced to have been connected to the movie for months. At a previous press conference, Kelly spoke of her husband, saying:

“I think he just inhabits a person so brilliantly … He doesn’t really play them. He becomes them.”

John Travolta guest-starring on ‘Glee’ sounds like a no-brainer. Given his musical tendencies, he seems like an obvious choice! When ET sat down with him, they asked if he’d consider appearing on the hit FOX show.

He reveals to ET that he has been approached by the hit show, “They’ve asked. … But I don’t know. When I do musicals I train for six to nine months sometimes a year in preparation. A show like that is an on-demand thing and I really have a criteria and pride. … I would wanna knock em’ dead, and I don’t think I can knock ‘em dead in a week.”

I think he would be awesome on ‘Glee’! I’m not a huge JT fan, but it would certainly make for good TV! In other ‘Glee’ news – it was recently announced that Gwyneth Paltrow will be back in a special post-Super Bowl episode ‘Thriller’ on February 6 on Fox! EW has more details:

EW was exclusively on the set of Glee’s Super Bowl episode, in which the New Directions perform an epic mash-up of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Heads Will Roll.” During filming of the episode, which will air Feb. 6, the McKinley High glee club decked themselves out in full zombie makeup — and performed even when a flu spread throughout the set. “We’re making it our own,” Cory Monteith tells EW. “This is up there with the Rocky Horror, Madonna, and Britney episodes, because there’s so much production going into itm”

According to People, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston had tried for three years to have another child, and when they finally did get pregnant, they were “completely blown away!”

Now, less than two months after Preston, 48, delivered Benjamin on Nov. 23, the proud parents are showing off their little “miracle.”

“He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose,” says Travolta, 56, who held Preston’s hand during labor as their 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu waited excitedly outside the room with actress Kirstie Alley, a close family pal.

Former Star Wars star Carrie Fisher gave a new interview to The Advocate where she discussed John Travolta. Basically she says that we all already know that he’s gay and he should just come out of the closet!

Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know [he's gay] and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry that he’s uncomfortable with it, and that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss.

I have to wonder how he plans on responding to that one!

John Travolta and Kelly Preston will have a new guest at their Thanksgiving table.

A publicist says the couple welcomed a baby boy Tuesday in Florida. They named their new son Benjamin.

The eight-pound, three-ounce boy was born at an undisclosed Florida hospital.

Spokeswoman Samantha Mast said in a statement late Tuesday that the couple and their daughter, Ella Bleu, “are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family.” The statement says Preston and baby Benjamin “are healthy and doing beautifully.”

This is the third child for Travolta and Preston, who were married in 1991. Their eldest child, son Jett, died last year at age 16.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s baby boy will arrive in about three weeks, and they will name him Benjamin, John tells Star magazine.

John, 56, and Kelly, 48, announced they were expecting in May.

“It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this,” they said in a statement. “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family.”

They have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 10, and lost their son Jett at the age of 16 last year.
