According to RadarOnline, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are putting together a December wedding!

The former Simple Life star, 29, and her rocker fiancee, 31, are set to tie the knot before a star-studded guest list at the Beverly Hill home of Nicole’s proud dad, music icon Lionel Richie.

“Christmas has always been about family and faith for Nicole and Joel, so there is not better time of the year for them to wed,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

While the super-secret details of the couple’s nuptials have not yet been released, RadarOnline.com has learned that close pal Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan’s ex-lover Samantha Ronson are both planning to be in attendance.

The maid of honor will be Nicole’s best friend, Masha Gordon, while the best man will be Joel’s twin brother, Benji. Nicole’s daughter Harlow will serve as a flower girl. Father Lionel will walk Nicole, the daughter he adopted, down the aisle, RadarOnline.com is told.

The pair – who confirmed their engagement in February – have also engaged a top Hollywood event planner, the same woman behind the amazing nuptials of Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Aguilera.

Nicole and Joel are planning to invite about 75 family members and close friends to the garden wedding.

The lovebirds have been dating since late 2006 and have two children together – Harlow, 2, and one-year-old Sparrow.

Attention paparazzi, Nicole Richie has had enough of you staking out her daughter Harlow’s school…and rightfully so! She took a photo of the snapper, Fabricio Luis Mariotto, lurking around Harlow’s preschool.

She has just filed legal papers to get a restraining order against the photographer, saying, “Mariotto drives erratically around my children and others, yells, screams and attempts to scare us so that he can photograph our reaction. He trespasses on preschool property to photograph the children.”

Nicole adds, “He has often left his car in the middle of a busy street just to chase me for a photograph.”

Nicole, who did not show up in court but was represented by Tamar Arminak from Mark Geragos’ law firm, adds, “His predatory behavior caused and continues to cause severe emotional distress as I fear for the safety of my children.”

The temporary restraining order requires Mariotto to stay 100 yards away from Nicole, Harlow, Sparrow and Joel Madden, as well as the preschool.

Even though Nicole Richie celebrated her Bachelorette Party this past weekend in Mexico, she’s not actually getting married until December!

A source tells E! that Richie and Joel Madden are planning on getting married in December, but due to scheduling conflicts, they decided to throw the bachelorette party early! The ladies party was attended by Christina Aguilera and Samantha Ronson. Nicole also turned 29 on Tuesday.

The mother of two hasn’t picked out a wedding dress yet, and is said to be looking over choices with her stylist.

No word on where they’ll get married, but sources tell E! they plan on staying close to home, a may have the wedding at dad Lionel Richie’s house.

Before you start trying to remember if you forgot Nicole Richie was pregnant – she’s not! The Richie-Madden family welcomed a new addition, but it wasn’t a baby – it’s a cat!

According to Us Weekly:

Richie, 28, writes on her website that she found Tabitha crying outside her home “one dark and lonely night.”

“At first, I thought it was Joel,” says Richie, mother to daughter Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow (who turns 1 next month). “But to my surprise, there she was. A sad, and very hungry kitten.”

Initially, she thought the cat belonged to her neighbor, so she ignored it.

A week later, the cat returned. “She was so skinny and I could tell she was starving,” Richie writes. “I couldn’t resist. I fed her, and she was as happy as Benji Madden in a sorority house. It’s been 2 months now, so I think it’s safe to call her mine.”

How sweet of her to take in that poor kitty. Nicole has a good heart!
