Penelope Cruz looks like she’s ready to pop! The expectant mom stepped out with her husband Javier Bardem, 44, over the weekend, at the Los Veranos de la Villa Music Festival in Madrid, Spain.
According to sources, the 39-year-old actress is due any day now! The couple already have a son together, 2-year-old Leo.
During an interview with Vogue in June 2011, Cruz said how life-changing motherhood is.
“From the first second, you feel so much love,” she shared. “That’s the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever.”
She looks gorgeous still! Love these two, they make such a great couple.
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are expanding their family! The couple already have a son, Leonardo, who’s two-years-old.
Cruz, 38, and Bardem, 43, tied the knot in 2010 at a friend’s home in the Bahamas.
Speaking to Vogue a short time later about how motherhood had changed her, the Spanish star broke down in tears.
“From the first second, you feel so much love,” she explained of motherhood in an interview for the magazine’s June 2011 issue. “It is a revolutionary experience. That’s the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever.”
The news of Cruz and Bardem’s second baby means that the actress and her younger sister, Monica Cruz, will be pregnant together for at least a few months. Monica, 35, announced earlier in January that she was expecting her first child via an anonymous sperm donor later this year.
“I’m going to be a mother!” the Agent Provocateur model wrote on her blog for Spanish newspaper El Pais. “I have managed to fulfill the dream of a lifetime. Because of that, I want to share with all of you this special journey and be able to tell you about all of my experiences during this fascinating time…”
So happy for the couple! They are so cute together!
The Bond actor sat down with Yahoo Movies and opened up about the first time he heard Adele’s “Skyfall”, a song he felt “perfectly” fit the movie.
“I cried,” said Craig. “From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I’d wanted front the beginning.”
“It just got better and better because it fitted the movie. In fact the more of the movie we made, the more it fitted it.”
The Bond actor isn’t alone in his sentiments, though, with “Skyfall” shooting to No. 1on the iTunes charts just ten hours after its release.
“Skyfall” was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios and features a 77-piece orchestra.
Adele was intially concerned about writing the song for the film.
“I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for ‘Skyfall,'” Adele said. “There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song.”
Mendes encouraged Adele to write “a personal song,” a few words of support that ultimately led to one of the most lauded Bond theme songs in years. Even artists like Jedward and Willow Smith have put their own spin on the song, recording well-received covers of the tune.
“Skyfall” opens this week in the U.K. and will be released in U.S. theaters on November 9.
I didn’t necessarily feel like crying when I heard “Skyfall”, but I certainly thought it was beautiful. I think Adele NAILED it. Listen to the song below!
