Michelle Williams’ rep is hitting out at reports that she once forced Heath Ledger to go to rehab.
“Much of the tabloid reporting is inaccurate,” Williams’ rep Mara Buxbaum said. “This fabricated story of Michelle Williams attempting to bring Heath Ledger to rehab is just one lie among many. The speculation is heinous. Let this family grieve privately.”
I agree 100% with Michelle’s rep, let the family grieve in private already. It’s adding insult to injury by going on about his alleged drug use.

Basically they’re telling me they’ll sue the pants off me if I show the video on my website. Would I ever show a video of Heath Ledger doing drugs? HELL NO! Just leave the poor man alone!!
The video is of Heath Ledger at a drug-fueled party back in 2006.
“I’m gonna get so much sh*t from my girlfriend,” Ledger is seen saying in the vid.
Why, he’s asked.
“We have a baby together…matilda matilda rose.”
The tables at the party are filled with drugs, one person who has seen the tape tells us.
Ledger also talks about his drug use and other not so pretty things are seen.
“I used to smoke five joints a day,” Heath reveals. And that’s not the only thing. It’s being reported that Ledger also battled addiction to heroin, cocaine, alcohol and prescription pills.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who is godfather to Heath Ledger’s two-year-old daughter Matilda, has been devastated by last week’s news. Says one Gyllenhaal friend, “Jake is taking this harder than most people.”
Nowhere is that more apparent than on the New Mexico set of Gyllenhaal’s latest movie, Brothers.
“This has had a strong personal effect on [Jake],” says a set source. The insider adds that Gyllenhaal left the set immediately after learning of Ledger’s Jan. 22 death – but he flew back on a commercial flight to shoot an additional scene on Thursday.
“He was there, but he wasn’t with us. It was obviously a major trauma,” says the movie source. “These guys were very close. [Jake] was sitting in the director’s chair staring off into space.”
Gyllenhaal has been off since shooting that scene, and was photographed Saturday looking subdued with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon in Los Angeles. Set sources say director Jim Sheridan is shooting around the grieving actor during his personal leave.
The 27-year-old’s somber mood is a sharp contrast to the happier times on the set of Brothers. During one intense early prison scene, Gyllenhaal jokingly reached into his pocket and took out a picture of his Brokeback beau to stick on the prison wall. “Like those prisoners put [loved ones] on the wall, but Jake’s was Heath Ledger,” one set source recalls. “That was hilarious. It was a nice moment.”
The source adds, “When you think back on it now, it’s touching.”

Heath Ledger’s battle with alcohol and drugs was so harmful to his relationship with Michelle Williams that she tried to get him to enter rehab, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now.
For three years, Williams was a firsthand witness to the gifted actor’s use of alcohol and drugs, including cocaine, heroin and “a variety of pills,” says a Ledger confidant.
In March 2006 – just weeks after the couple walked the Oscars red carpet and when daughter Matilda was only five months old – Williams drove Ledger to Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California, the confidant tells Us Weekly.
Ledger refused to check in, instead swaying her with a pledge to clean up.
Even after the couple realized “they were in way over their heads,” according to a source, and split in September 2007, two sources tell Us that Williams demanded Ledger be drug-tested before his visitations with Matilda.
When news of Ledger’s death broke last Tuesday, Williams was inconsolable. “She cried and screamed as soon as she heard,” a source on the Swedish set of her latest film, Mammoth, tells Us.

This is just the sickest thing one could possibly do. A man was posing as Heath Ledger’s father, calling up news stations and even Tom Cruise and was trying to obtain information from them.
The unnamed caller was taped telling a reporter that Ledger’s death was a “mistake” and claimed that Ledger loved daughter Matilda “to bits,” among his other fabrications. TMZ spotted Ledger’s dad, Kim — the real one — today at Heath’s SoHo apartment, where he stayed for about an hour and left.
Reports have claimed that the impostor called Tom Cruise and the funeral home where Heath was taken, as well as the cops and medical examiner. Halle Berry’s rep says that the fake Kim Ledger did not call Halle, and TMZ has contacted reps for John Travolta and Mel Gibson, who were also said to have been contacted.
That’s just sick!

The filming of Michelle Williams’ next movie, Blue Valentine, has been placed on hold giving the actress time to cope with the tragic death of her ex, Heath Ledger.
“We will hold off until she is ready,” says a source connected with the film. “The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her.”
The movie – a relationship drama centered around a young couple struggling with their marriage – also stars Ryan Gosling, who Williams was rumored to be dating after they were spotted strolling together in New York before the holidays.
Production on the film was set to start on February 25, but has been moved back to an indefinite date.
“We’re hoping she will still come back and do the film and are happy to wait,” the source says. “The film is tailor made for those two so of course we would want to wait. You can’t get much better than them.”
Williams had just finished shooting her last scene in the film “Mammuth” in Sweden when she received the news of Ledger’s death.

Amid rampant speculation over what exactly caused Heath Ledger’s tragic death, Dr. Drew Pinsky tells PageSix.com that claims that it could have been from natural causes are “very unlikely.”
“That rarely happens to young people, even if they have pneumonia. And the term ‘natural causes’ is very ambigious. Natural causes always means something, such as a rhythmic disturbance in the heart. Natural causes means something more is going on.”
The TV doc points to drug interaction as the most clear explanation, suggesting that if the 28-year-old had been prescribed an opiate-based cough medicine for pneumonia, it could have played a large part in an accidental overdose.
Police reportedly found Ambien, Xanax, Valium, and two drugs from Europe for sleep called Zoplicone and Donormul in Heath’s bedroom, constituting what Drew calls “an extraordinary and excessive combination.” He tells PageSix.com that Zoplicone’s reference materials state that taking an excess of the drug “may present with excessive sedation, depressed respiratory function which may proceed to coma and possibly death. Zoplicone combined with alcohol, opiates, or any other depressants may be even more likely to lead to fatal overdoes.”
Drew, who deals with all kinds of addiction problems tells PageSix.com that abuse of prescription narcotics such as Xanax, Valium and Ambien is rampant, and poses a much bigger threat than cocaine and crack because they are so readily available.
