Gerard Butler recently got very hands-y with his The Bounty Hunter costar Jen Aniston — and there’s photographic proof.
In a buzzed-about rearview photo from March 27, Butler tightly grabbed Aniston’s bottom while greeting fans on the River Seine in Paris.
During a Friday appearance on syndicated radio show “Johnjay and Rich,” Butler, 40, joked about the bootylicious snapshot.
“I’m a bit of a bad boy,” the actor said. He then demurred, “by the way, I’m still not sure my hand was really on her butt. I think that’s just the way the camera was angled,” before breaking into laughter. “I actually haven’t seen [the photo].”
His interviewers weren’t buying it. “[Your finger] looks implanted inside the crease!” one co-host protested.
The star also continued to deny any romantic involvement with Aniston, 41. “If I was going out with Jennifer, I’d be more than happy to say I’m going out with Jennifer — it’s just not true.”
Yet a Butler pal counters in the new Us Weekly that the flirty costars have been “hooking up for a while.” Another source confirms that the pair slept together during her February birthday blowout in Mexico.
An Aniston pal explains: “she’d like it to be more, [but] they’re friends with benefits.”
A rep for Aniston tells Us that the “friends with benefits” label is “crude and incorrect. They were not flirty in Paris.”

What do you think of Jennifer’s dress? According to critics – it’s a total mess!
The actress, 41, mixed up her red carpet look Sunday at the Paris premiere of The Bounty Hunter, stepping out in a pink silk strapless Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown.
But Stylist.com called it a prom dress “gone bad … We’re just not that into it, Jen.”
An E! News fashion critic wrote that “as much as we think mixing it up is better than playing it safe, sometimes taking a risk can go awry and, well, this one did.”
So why didn’t it work?
“To pull off a Lacroix gown, you need tons of attitude, otherwise the dress wears you rather than you wearing the dress, which is precisely what’s happening in this case,” according to uk.stylelist.com. “Considering her gorgeous gams, we’re surprised Aniston would pick a dress that hides most of her figure and generally doesn’t look very flattering. Also, while a bold colour can look like too much if you have a dramatic hairstyle and tons of accessories, Jen’s minimal makeup and pony tail just don’t look high-impact enough.”

Reviews of Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler’s new romantic comedy have hit the web today, and the news is not surprising in the least. You could tell from the previews that this movie is a royal dud. But don’t take my word for it.
Roger Ebert:
Why, oh, why, was this movie necessary?
The Onion:
Tennant and his actors have done the bare minimum to carry their lifeless movie past the finish line, and their apathy reads a lot like contempt
Hollywood Reporter:
The mishmash ends up as a thoroughly unfunny adult cartoon where neither the heroes’ lives nor their love lives are in any serious jeopardy. The humor is played far too broadly, and the situations in Sara Thorp’s script all are lethally predictable.
Variety:
This dire battle-of-the-exes action-comedy severely tests audience goodwill by running an indulgent 110 minutes, crammed as it is with half-baked thriller subplots and aimless supporting characters, as if to distract from the central duo’s nonstop bickering.
Chicago Tribune:
It would be nice to not hate the male lead. While Butler certainly has presence and a good voice, there’s something about Butler in these sorts of jolly-tormentor roles that makes me think “soccer hooligan.” As for Aniston, her script karma continues its vengeful post-”Friends” rampage. Here she is mainly confined to a one-note snit, and to modeling the way her behind looks from behind, in tight skirts. (1 1/2 stars)
