Lost’s Evangeline Lilly is set to make her feature debut alongside John Malkovich in French director Gilles Bourdos’ supernatural thriller Afterwards. The story is about a workaholic lawyer (Romain Duris), drifting away from his ex-wife (Lilly) and daughter, who meets a mysterious doctor (Malkovich) who claims to have the power to predict people’s deaths. A co-production of France’s Fidelite Films and Canada’s Christal Film Prods., Afterwards will start shooting June 4 for a 2008 release.

LOST star Evangeline Lilly once worked as a car mechanic and knows more about vehicles than her boyfriend Dominic Monaghan.

The 27-year-old has been dating Lost co-star Monaghan for two years, and isn’t afraid to show off her automobile prowess. She says, “I seem to date men who always know less about cars than I do. If I have a flat tyre with my boyfriend, I’m always the one to change it. “There was a record for the most oil changes in one day. Within my first two months I broke it.”

Evangeline Lilly has hinted she will quit ‘Lost’ unless the show’s fans stop hassling her.

The actress is growing weary of the constant attention she receives from followers of the program and admits she sometimes considers walking away from her role as sexy fugitive Kate in the hit series.

Lilly, who is dating her ‘Lost’ co-star Dominic Monaghan, said: “I am an incredibly private person, and it’s so exhausting to me that everywhere I go people know me or think they know me. If I could act and make the income I make and be anonymous, I would never want to leave the job.”

This is not the first time Lilly has complained about her fame.

She previously admitted she would like to go on holiday to a remote island where no one would recognise her because she is so sick of being hounded by fans and the media wherever she goes.

She said: “I want to go somewhere like Mongolia or Timbuktu. Someplace where they don’t watch ‘Lost’!”
