Miss yourself some Elizabeth Taylor? Well, now you can have a little bit more of the screen legend, as told by her children via anecdotes and never-before seen photographs.
Growing up the son of a screen legend “was great, kind of circus-like,” says Christopher Wilding, the 58-year old son of Taylor. “The big tent folds and moves to the next city.”
Wilding makes a point of saying that Taylor “took great pains to create a stable family life” for her beloved four children. She wasn’t a big disciplinarian, but she did promote positivity and steered her kiddies away from judging others. In this week’s issue of PEOPLE, Taylor’s family shares intimate memories and rare pictures of their mother for the first time in honor of her AIDS activism, leading up to World AIDS Day on Dec. 1. Sounds like a kind gesture for a family that really respected their mother’s life and cause.
