ET has confirmed that Dame Elizabeth Taylor is continuing her amazing recovery after being hospitalized last month — and is happy, healthy and busy working.
The 76-year-old actress was rumored to be ill and on life support, but a source tells People magazine that Elizabeth’s been back to work overseeing the holiday packaging for her White Diamonds perfume.
“Ms. Taylor is at home and happy – and busier than ever,” a friend of Taylor’s said. “She’s living her life. She’s been having dinner with friends. She’s working.”
Taylor is reportedly feeling well enough to plan upcoming trips to Hawaii and Europe.

Elizabeth Taylor’s publicist has denied reports the actress is on death’s door - insisting she’s waiting to be discharged from hospital.
The 76-year-old is said to have been admitted to a medical center on July 15th after being diagnosed with pneumonia, but her condition reportedly worsened in the following days.
Taylor then suffered congestive heart failure on Wednesday night and was placed on a ventilation machine, according to the National Enquirer.
But the star’s spokesperson insists her health problems have been exaggerated - and that the actress’ hospital stint was a mere precaution.
The rep says, “Ms. Taylor is fine. The rumors which began in England about her health are dramatic, overstated and untrue. Her hospital visit was precautionary. She will be returning home shortly. At present, she is surrounded by family, friends and fabulous jewels.”
Taylor - who suffers from diabetes and osteoporosis - has been plagued with health problems over the last few years.
She was first diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004 and has endured two hip replacement operations and the removal of a benign brain tumor in 1997.

Elizabeth Taylor is reportedly in a critical condition in hospital after suffering congestive heart failure.
The 76-year-old is said to have been admitted to a medical center on 15 July 15th after being diagnosed with pneumonia, but her condition reportedly worsened in the following days.
Taylor then suffered congestive heart failure on Wednesday night and was placed on a ventilation machine, according to U.S. tabloid, the National Enquirer.
However, the National Velvet star’s condition is said to have improved on Thursday and she is now reportedly breathing unaided.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mail, “The doctors thought they were going to lose her. She’s still very sick, but she’s past the crisis.”
Taylor has been plagued with health problems over the last few years - she was first diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2004, a progressive condition where the heart is too weak to pump blood around the body. She has endured two hip replacement operations, the removal of a benign brain tumour in 1997, and also suffers from diabetes and osteoporosis.

Elizabeth Taylor is reportedly battling a new health complaint that is shutting her internal organs down. The ailing 76-year-old actress’ latest medical crisis was brought on by the painkillers she has taken for years to combat chronic back and hip pain.
Sources tell U.S. tabloid the National Enquirer the drugs have caused irreversible damage to her liver and kidneys - but Taylor is refusing to go on dialysis that will prolong her life. An insider tells the publication, “Her body is starting to shut down, and she’s adamant about not resorting to life support.
Liz does not want to continue living if it means being connected to machines. “Liz said she has no intention of going on dialysis - let alone consider organ transplants.”
