David Hasselhoff wants you to know that his new reality show might be a little boring…
David and his daughters are set to appear in their new A&E show, The Hasselhoffs and in a new interview, he calls the show “too normal.”
He said, “It’s not as goofy as the Osmonds. It’s not as crazy as the Kardashians…it may be too normal.”
His daughter Taylor said, “I feel like there’s such a misconception of our family in the tabloids and everything.”
David added, “The girls will read something that’s really bad and they’re like, ‘Dad, you should sue them, that’s ridiculous…’ we can’t sue everybody. That’s one of the things you learn in this business. You gotta have a tough skin and move on. Taylor was at the University of Arizona and they’d say, ‘What’s your name?’ and she’d say Taylor Hasselhoff, and the whole student body would turn around.”

David Hasselhoff has been taken to the hospital after an alleged three-day alcohol bender, according to RadarOnline.com. The 57-year-old actor was taken to the hospital by his 17-year-old daughter (above) who infamously filmed him drunkenly eating a cheeseburger a few years back.
According to the RadarOnline report, Hasselhoff had been drinking for three days in the lead-up to his Sunday hospitalization. There’s been no word on Hasselhoff’s condition upon arrival or now.
Hasselhoff has long battled alcohol issues. He has been hospitalized at least five times over the past five years for alcohol-related incidents, Radar reports.
“I’m sure he’ll try to deny it this time, too … And that’s sad, because it’s his daughter who is suffering when she has to take care of him after a bender,” a source tells Radar, referring to Hasselhoff’s history of saying he doesn’t have an alcohol problem.

Pamela Bach, David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, has just been sentenced to 90 days in jail due to a DUI she received in November.
For the DUI she got back in November, Pamela was only sentenced to 30 days in jail, TMZ reports.
However, an extra 60 days had to be added due to her past record.
Pamela was on probation for a previous DUI , so her November DUI was a violation of her probation.
TMZ reports Pamela will start serving her 90-day sentence on May 3.

The Hoff is coming back to TV.
On Wednesday — about a week after he was booted from America’s Got Talent — it was announced that David Hasselhoff would star in a docu-drama on A&E later this year. The 10-episode series will feature him helping his daughters, Taylor-Ann, 19, and Hayley, 17, break into the entertainment industry.
“It’s the dream of every parent to be able to help their child succeed,” Hasselhoff, 57, says in a statement. “I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own.”
Tweeted daughter Hayley last October, “The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A&E … Get readdyy for it.”
The former Baywatch star has appeared on camera with Hayley before. In 2007, she taped her father — who has long battled alcoholism — drunkenly eating a cheeseburger. The clip was later leaked on the Internet.
Earlier this month, a 911 tape was released in which Hayley is overheard saying, “My dad just … he’s collapsed… It’s kind of scaring me.”

David Hasselhoff has announced that he is leaving “America’s Got Talent” after four years as a judge.
The 57-year-old former “Baywatch” star told People.com that he’s abandoning fellow judges Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne to pursue a show of his own.
“I am proud that I was part of making America’s Got Talent the No. 1 rated show for the past four summers,” Hasselhoff said. “It’s been a rewarding experience and now I’m thrilled to be able to follow my dream to do my own TV show, which will be announced very shortly.”
Potential replacements have yet to be determined, but NBC plans to fill Hasselhoff’s seat at the judges table by the time the show returns next summer for its fifth season.
The network released a statement that said, “David’s been an integral part of the success of America’s Got Talent and we are sad to see him go. We wish him all the best with his new show.”
Details of Hasselhoff’s new show have yet to be released.

David Hasselhoff has spent two days hospitalized in London after reportedly going on a drinking rampage that culminated with him punching a doctor, The Sun reports. David’s assistant, Joe Townley, called the hospital after David had allegedly been boozing for days. David was released yesterday after spending two days in the Capio Nightingale Hospital rehab unit.
David was reportedly upset with his assistant, but instead of taking it out on him, he mistakenly hit the doctor.
TMZ confirmed that David was in London staying at the St. Martins Lane Hotel and was in fact a guest at Simon Cowell’s birthday party.
David had been hospitalized just last month for what was said to be an ear infection. His daughter had blamed her mother for creating unnecessary drama.

David Hasselhoff is going on the record with THE INSIDER about reports that he was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for alcohol poisoning.
He told us today in Santa Barbara, “Yes, I had a few drinks. Yes I checked into the hospital. But it wasn’t for alcohol poisoning and no there’s no police report about a 3.9 [blood alcohol level], that’s completely made up. I don’t know where that came from… no police report.”
When we caught up with Hasselhoff today, he told us, “I’m fine. I’m doing great. But you know what? The attorneys will handle it.”
Hasselhoff is keeping a sense of humor about the situation, telling us: “[My girlfriend Kimberly] brought me an article this morning that’s pretty funny. It said something like: You know you’re an icon when the reports say that you checked into the hospital with alcohol poisoning, that you were intoxicated, that you checked into rehab, you died, came out of rehab and you’re having an affair with gerbils.”
