Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford was hanging out at Ringo’s Pub in Plano, TX last night. He and a friend got in a car, and they were then busted for possessing an unlit joint. Crawford was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum of 6 months in jail.

If he was smoking the joint, then hey – I get it. But an unlit joint? Seems a stretch if you ask me.

Recently it was announced that Chace Crawford dropped out of the lead in the troubled Footloose remake. While everyone is mum on the reasons he quit, but sources say it was due to a filming conflict with Gossip Girl.

I have a love-hate relationship with Gossip Girl. It is a TERRIBLE show on every level (Blake Lively is the most annoying person on the planet) but for some reason, I watch it every week!! What the heck.

Chace Crawford learned about the birds and bees from a a surprising source: Shauna Sand!

Four years before Gossip Girl brought him instant stardom, the 18-year-old hunky college freshman had a steamy, sex-filled romance with model/actress Shauna, the ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas and May 1996 Playmate who is 14 years his senior!

“He was so incredibly beautiful — I immediately fell in love with him!” Shauna tells Star exclusively about meeting Chase at a college party in Malibu. The couple began dating “and I even gave him a key to my apartment,” Shauna said.

Chace eventually got his acting career off the ground and Shauna remarried. But, in 2007, after Shauna’s brief second marriage ended, Chace suddenly appeared in her life again and the spark was reignited!

Blake Lively and Chace Crawford were hard at work on the WB show Gossip Girls in NYC yesterday afternoon.  There are rumors floating around that the two are hooking up on the show, which seems so weird to me. I’m not sure I’m feeling the Nate/Serena love story.  They seem like such a weird couple.  And who hasn’t Nate been with on the show? Isn’t Serena the last female he hasn’t hooked up with?  They’re going to need to bring in some new meat for this man-whore!
