Charlotte Church has split from her longtime boyfriend, rugby player Gavin Henson. Two months ago the couple announced they were finally getting married, so the split comes as a bit of a shock! They have been together for five years, and have two children together!
In an April OK! magazine spread, Church described how Henson borrowed his boss’s helicopter and whisked her away to a seafront restaurant in her native Wales, where he proposed. “Absolutely joyous,” she later described the moment.
A spokesman confirmed the split.
Since the split, the two have been getting support from family and friends. Henson left for Spain to spend time with his friends, while Church remains home with family.
The couple share two children, Ruby, 2, and 16-month-old Dexter, and have been together since 2005. The Welsh star got her start in classical music before crossing over to pop music.

Charlotte Church has reportedly bought an air gun – to take pot-shots at photographers who constantly lurk outside her home.
The classical singer-turned-TV presenter says she was furious when snappers camped outside her luxury house near Bridgend in south Wales to get pictures of her newborn daughter Ruby.
And Chruch says she decided to sell her baby pictures to celebrity magazine Hello! so the paparazzi would not make any money from her – and then invest the cash in an air gun in case she needs to ward any photographers off.
She explains, “I might start picking them off. Only joking, I promise, Mr Policeman. It wasn’t me.”

Charlotte Church just announced that she’s pregnant with her second child. But the 22-year-old has not plans to stop there.
In fact, the singer-turned-talk-show-host wants “between four and six” children, she told the BBC’s Jonathan Ross. Church added that she and her rugby player boyfriend, Gavin Henson, hope to have their own “little rugby team.”
“I want all my babies by the time I’m 32, so then I can have everything done,” she said. “We want to have our babies young and then I’m going to get married and look fabulous for that.”
The couple welcomed a daughter, Ruby Megan Henson, last September.
The Voice of an Angel crooner – who currently hosts the U.K.’s Charlotte Church Show – also said she plans to revive her singing career.
“I think I’ll try and fit it in around the babies,” she told Ross. (The episode, also featuring Jay-Z and Will Smith, will air Friday in the U.K.)

Charlotte Church has nicknamed her unborn child the Grand Slam baby – because the tot was conceived after her rugby star boyfriend Gavin Henson helped Wales victory in the Six Nations cup.
The former child star, 22, announced she was expecting her second baby on Wednesday, just nine months after the couple welcomed daughter Ruby Megan.
She says, “We’re calling my new bump the Grand Slam because that’s when he or she was conceived. I’d be quite happy to get pregnant every time Wales wins the Grand Slam.”
Henson won the Grand Slam title with Wales after beating France in the Six Nations competition in March.

Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson are delighted to announce that they are expecting another baby. The couple are thrilled, as are their immediate families.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has confirmed that she will fulfill her commitment to Channel 4 to present the third series of The Charlotte Church Show in July and August of this year.
Charlotte and Gavin welcomed daughter, Ruby, in September of 2007. Now that’s quick! Britney style!

Charlotte Church has given two brothers, Barney and Daniel Jones from Anglesey, the funds to start their very own Star Wars church.
“We noticed that there were a couple of sites on the internet, Jedi Church sites. We printed off a couple of sermons and did some in our house for a couple of friends one night,” said Barney to the Daily Star.
“Now we can’t wait to make a UK church where like-minded people can worship. My brother and I will wear the Jedi robes – the dark brown ones.
“The congregation will be in black, to bring a sense of unity to the meetings. The services will include sermons on The Force, light saber training, and meditation techniques.”
“Barney and Daniel are eternally grateful to her for funding their dream. Char, they love you,” added a source to the Star.
