Chuck Lorre needs to have the last word.

After declaring WW3 on each other, ‘Two and a Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen have been at each other’s throats. Charlie filed and won a lawsuit against Warner Brothers for wrongful firing, and Chuck replaced Charlie with Ashton Kutcher. You know the rest.

Looks like everyone isn’t ready to move on quite yet. Last night, Lorre posted a vanity card at the end of ‘Two and a Half Men’. It read

“Sometime last year I realized I had become the unwilling contestant in a reality show. I didn’t understand the rules, wasn’t sure if there even were any, and pretty much hated every second of it. For many months I kept hoping and praying that it would end. But it did not. Somewhere along the way, something inside me died. Anyway, now, suddenly, I’m being told that the reality show’s been cancelled. Apparently, it was just one of those things that somehow got out of control. Sorry. Whoops. Live and learn. Moving on. Game over. There’s just one problem. That thing inside me that died? It walks at night. It’s angry. It’s hungry. And worst of all…it’s writing a tell-all book.”

Is a tell-all taking it too far – or should Chuck Lorre get over it already?

Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. reach a settlement over his firing!

One of the nastiest public battles between a Hollywood star and a Hollywood studio has finally come to an end! Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. have finalized a multimillion-dollar settlement after Charlie was fired from his starring role on the CBS mega-hit, ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Charlie will receive $25 million to settle the lawsuit, according to an insider. A spokesman for Warner Bros. denied there is a settlement and declined to comment further.

The expected agreement, which is still being ironed out, would resolve one of the most closely watched spats in television history. It started in January when Warner Bros. shut down production on “Two and a Half Men” so that Sheen, who has had a history of substance abuse issues, could seek treatment. It was not the first time the studio halted production on the show because of worries about Sheen’s well-being.

A few weeks later, Sheen declared himself ready to return to work. When Warner Bros. disagreed, the actor launched a highly unusual public relations offensive. Sheen appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and NBC’s “Today,” on which he blasted Warner Bros. and “Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre and boasted about his drug use, womanizing and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle.

Warner Bros. then decided to pull the plug on the rest of the show’s season and, soon after another Sheen attack on Lorre and Warner Bros. on a radio show, fired the actor. In a letter to Sheen’s attorney, Warner Bros. said he was fired because the actor was “engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill” and was unable to perform at an acceptable level.

Sheen sued Warner Bros. for $100 million for wrongful termination, contending he was ready to return to work. A California Superior Court judge ruled that any dispute about the terms of Sheen’s contract with Warner Bros. had to go to arbitration.

Not only will Charlie receive a lump sum, but Charlie has shot around 180 episodes for the show, and in the next 7 – 10 years, the settlement will produce $100 million for the actor in syndication profits.

So at the end of the day – Charlie DID win… $125 million dollars – are you kidding me!?

Charlie Sheen Drops Extortion Lawsuit

The extortion lawsuit that former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen filed against adult film actress Christina Walsh aka Capri Anderson, has has been dropped by the actor after there were numerous failed attempts to serve her with court papers.

Back in October, Christina was found by police in a New York City hotel naked on the bathroom floor claiming that Charlie assaulted and threatened to kill her during an alcohol and cocaine filled violent bender.

Sheen fired back with an extortion lawsuit, claiming the high-priced escort had swiped his $165,000 Patek Philippe watch and demanded $1 million in return for her silence about what really happened in that hotel room.

“This lawsuit is nothing more than a public relations stunt,” Anderson’s attorney, Keith Davidson, previously told RadarOnline.com.

Obviously elated at the news, last night Christina tweeted:

“Today is a day I can finally move forward and I am most content :)

‘Two and a Half Men’ premieres with the funeral of Charlie Harper.

Although I am not a fan of Charlie Sheen’s real life behavior, I am kinda sad to think that they are going to permanently remove him from ‘Two and a Half Men‘ by killing him off. I guess that’s karma for you.

It is being reported that the season premiere of the hit sitcom will begin with Charlie Harper’s funeral in which a slew of Charlie’s ex-girlfriends will appear.

Charlie’s house will be put up for sale and Ashton Kutcher’s character will be among the potential buyers.

It is not clear on how CBS plans to weave Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones‘ characters into the new living situation.

Two and a Half Men‘ will debut on the exact same night Comedy Central is roasting Charlie Sheen, September 19. Will you tune it?

BREAKING: Charlie Sheen lands new sitcom!

Charlie Sheen is returning to TV! Lionsgate announced today that Charlie will make his return to television in a sitcom based on the 2003 Jack Nicholson/Adam Sandler comedy “Anger Management”.

Lionsgate will produce the half-hour comedy.

“I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept, Sheen said in a statement. It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favorite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth.” Charlie said in the press release.

Here’s the release:

Former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen is planning his return to series television in Anger Management, a new sitcom loosely based on Revolution Studios 2003 hit comedy feature of the same name. Lionsgate-owned Debmar-Mercury, headed by Co-Presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, will distribute the series that will be produced by Lionsgate Television, led by Television Group President Kevin Beggs and COO Sandra Stern; Joe Roth and Revolution Studios Vince Totino; Sheen manager Mark Burg s production company, Evolution Management; and Robert Maron.

Sheen will retain a significant ownership stake in the series inspired by the film, in which a mild-mannered, non-confrontational man is ordered to attend group anger management sessions led by a therapist who could probably use some anger management himself.

“I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept,” Sheen said. “It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favorite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth.”
Roth and Sheen have worked together on five features, including “Major League,” “Young Guns” and “Three Musketeers.”

“Who better than Charlie Sheen to tackle ‘Anger Management,’” Roth said. “With Charlie’s incredible talent and comedic gifts, he remains the leading man of TV sitcoms. I’m excited to collaborate with him once again.”

Marcus and Bernstein said in a joint statement, “Our sitcom model is all about building well-known brands around extraordinary talents like Charlie that, thanks to their large profit participation, are highly motivated to succeed. It’s not every day you can roll out a sitcom featuring the star of the biggest TV comedy of the past decade.”

“We always look for series ideas that are noisy, accessible and relevant,” said Lionsgate’s Kevin Beggs. “Charlie Sheen in ‘Anger Management’ takes those criteria to a whole new level and we are thrilled to be in business with him, Evolution, Debmar-Mercury and Revolution Studios on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With a star of Charlie’s magnitude, a producer as venerable as Joe Roth and a branded property as compelling as ‘Anger Management,’ this show has unique upside while still adhering to our disciplined business model.”

I really wonder whether or not Charlie can pull off another successful TV show. What do you think? Does he have it in him?
