Channing Tatum Is Not Above Geeking Out On Movie Sets

'Jupiter Ascending' Los Angeles Premiere

I love it.

At a LA press conference for the film, Channing Tatum admitted he was “really intimidated” the first day of filming The Hateful Eight. Which makes sense, as he’s Channing Tatum and the Quentin Tarantino film is like, full of heavy hitting actors who don’t usually take their shirts off in their movies.

“I think on the first day, I must have looked so geeked out because the very first shot was this crazy 360 [degree pan],” Tatum explained. “And I’m just like wide-eyed trying to figure out what not to screw up.”
The epic western brought together many of Tarantino’s usual actors including Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen.
“All these guys work together a lot, and it is a unique experience to be in a Quentin movie, I can promise you,” he continued.

Luckily, costar and Tarantino-veteran Roth was there to offer some encouraging words to the Magic Mike star on Day One.

“And Tim goes, ‘Yep. Yep. You’re about to be in a Quentin Tarantino film. Pull it together, Channing,’ ” Tatum continued. “I looked so scared.”

He probably did look hilariously scared….and should be. The film also stars Kurt Russell and Jennifer Jason Leigh, but NO PRESSURE CHANNING TATUM.

Channing Tatum’s Costar Confirms Rumored Magic Mike Feud!

'Jupiter Ascending' Los Angeles Premiere

Tell us allll about your feelings, Alex and Channing. Why don’t you take of your shirts while you’re at it?

There were some little nagging rumors that my fave washboard hotties Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer don’t exactly get along on the set of Magic Mike, but Mr. Rockhard Alex is finally spilling about their feud to Bret Easton Ellis during Monday’s installment of his podcast, which confirms that this things for REAL.

“It’s true. Because Channing Tatum does not like me — and for many reasons [and] many being my own fault.”

The 25-year-old claimed he got a bad rap because he was super insecure during the shoot, and not because he thought he was a greater thespian or tanner or something:

“I was scared to speak. I actually did my work and I sat in the corner and listened to music because I had been told anything I did was wrong by my reps. I was very insecure as a human being. That also gave me a bad rep because everyone was like, ‘Alex doesn’t speak because he thinks he’s better than everyone else.’ That’s not true. I was just generally nervous and scared to be myself. I was in character.”

He apparently crashed with one of Tatum’s friends and then didn’t pay rent, too.

“All of a sudden I got a very negative email from Channing — rightfully so — saying, ‘Don’t f*ck my friends. You owe money. Pay the f*cking money. Don’t be a clown.’ And I really took that the wrong way, which I shouldn’t have, and emailed him back and said, ‘I’m in a real negative headspace and can you respect me for a moment and blah, blah, blah.’ And I got hounded through this time of grieving for money.”

However, Alex did appear to take on the blame when he was telling this story:

“By the end of it I just said, ‘F*ck them, what is money when life is so much more. I’m not paying.’ And I should have just paid. I think he was looking for an excuse to not like me.”

Well, sounds like he didn’t need to look TOO HARD. What do you think about this hottie rivalry?

Channing Tatum Voguing it about the best thing ever…

Could Channing Tatum be any cuter? The ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star is Vanity Fair’s August coverboy. The magazine asked the actor to show off some of his dance moves, and in 30 seconds he nails Madonna’s famous Vogue moves.

He’s a bit more clothed than he is in some of his scenes in the newly released “Magic Mike XXL,” but all is not lost. The outlet’s Rich Cohen asked Tatum if he’d ever consider hopping up on stage to strip again, “not in a film, not as a joke, but for real.”

“I wouldn’t mind going out there and doing it one more time. Or maybe twice,” Tatum said. “But, you know, every time I’ve put on a thong and am getting ready to walk onstage again, I’m like, ‘Why do I want to do this?’ It’s very uncomfortable to be in a thong in front of a thousand people.”

Hot. That’s all there is to it. HOTNESS.

Channing Tatum Talks Marriage And Fatherhood, And Of Course It’s Adorable

'Jupiter Ascending' Los Angeles Premiere

Channing Tatum SHOULD feel lucky!

He’s got an adorable 2-year-daughter, a huge career and an awesome wife and he’s producing and starring in pretty much the only movie anyone’s talking about this summer, Magic Mike XXL.  The star talks about being a neckless family man (just kidding, he has a neck it’s just very thick) to People Magazine:
“None of this is easy but at the same time it’s everything I would have ever wanted,” says Tatum.”Having a family and a little girl, it really makes things super clear,” he tells People.
The former sexiest man alive and dad to daughter, Everly, admitted that he wasn’t exactly a morning person, but his priorities have indeed changed. “The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning? I check to see if my daughter is still sleeping,” he says with a sweet laugh.
As if that wasn’t swoon-worth, he also credits his success to his wife of six years, Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
“We’re a good support system for each other,” says the actor, 35. “We keep pushing each other to grow and be better. I don’t think I could do it any other way [than with her].”
All aboard the gratitude train!
“I’ve had way more luck than most people deserve,” he says. “I’m just the luckiest guy.”
