Here you have it – the sequel to ’21 Jump Street’! This looks hilarious, I think I may have to watch it (yes, I never saw the first one).
“Ladies, nobody gave a sh-t about the Jump Street reboot, but you got lucky. So now this department has invested a lot of money to make sure Jump Street keeps going.” That’s Nick Offerman as Deputy Chief Hardy explaining to stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill why there’s a sequel to “21 Jump Street.” The aptly named “22 Jump Street” picks up where things left off in the first film, with Schmidt and Jenko (Hill and Tatum) heading off to college to work undercover in an effort stop the spread of some nefarious narcotics. “You look really old, too. You look old as sh-t to be here,” one of the students tells our hapless heroes. Indeed. Watch the red-band, lol-filled trailer below. “22 Jump Street” is out June 13, 2014.
I don’t know what to think about this new trailer for ‘Jupiter Ascending.’ I’ve been hearing about the movie for ages, and from what I can tell, Channing Tatum stars as a blonde elf, and Mila Kunis as some sort of God. The new film is an original science-fiction film by Andy and Lana Wachowski (“The Matrix,” “Cloud Atlas”). Channing plays a “splice” (a hybrid of a wolf and human, according to Channing), and Mila the queen of the universe.
Here’s the film’s official synopsis. “Jupiter Ascending” is out in theaters on July 25, 2014.
Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in “Jupiter Ascending,” an original science-fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski. Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

New father Tatum is beyond the realm of corny dad jokes, choosing to spoof viral videos instead. The Magic Mike heartthrob attempted to recreate Jean-Claude Van Damme’s epic split from the action star’s recent Volvo ad.
Tatum took his Enya CD and the food carts from his upcoming film 22 Jump Street to show that he, too, has the zen-like ability to seductively stare and do a split at the same time. Unfortunately, Tatum’s ending isn’t quite as awe-inspiring as Van Damme’s. Don’t worry Channing, you can still keep your sexy cred.
