“I was definitely open to love again,” the recently engaged Electra told People in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday.
Love is exactly what she found with former touring Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, who popped the question in April by giving her a black diamond.
“The last couple weeks have been amazing on a lot of different levels,” the Meet The Spartans star said at a junket for the film. “Rob is amazing. We were great friends and it actually turned into something much more.”
“We all try to protect our hearts and our feelings and it’s really easy to put up a wall and not feel anything,” she continued. “I’ve learned to allow myself to feel, whether it’s painful or beautiful. I’m really happy.”
The happiness showed as the duo was all smiles in Vegas, walking around the hotel hand in hand Saturday. Following her day of work, the duo was spotted getting loose at Body English nightclub.
So when is wedding number three? Not for a while, says Electra: “I have so much work.”
Carmen Electra, 36, is set to talk down the aisle for a third time.
“She is engaged” to rocker Rob Patterson, 37, her rep tells Usmagazine.com.
The two have been dating for less than a year.
“We’re good,” she told Us of their relationship in March after she joined him in Europe where he was working.
She said they wandered around “just by ourselves, so it was kind of fun to get lost and just to be together. Very romantic.
When asked if she has a type, she replied, “Definitely. [I like] a little edge. I’m probably living through them, in a way. I like to walk the fine line of edge without crossing it.”
Electra wed rocker Dave Navarro in 2003; they two called it quits in 2006.
She and NBA star Dennis Rodman eloped to Las Vegas in 1998. Their marriage was later annulled.
