Pink joined her freestyle motocross rider husband Carey Hart at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles for the AMA Monster Energy Supercross.
The singer recently offered up advice to cutters – and suicidal teens, via her blog:
Cutting, and suicide, two very different symptoms of the same problem, are gaining on us. (the problem being; alienation and depression. the symptoms; cutting and suicide).
I personally don’t know a single person who doesn’t know at least two of these victims personally. A lot of us have seen certain starlets showing off their latest scars on a red carpet somewhere, usually right before they head back to their favorite rehab.
It’s a problem, and its something we should talk about. We can choose to ignore the problem, and therefore ignore this video, but that won’t make it go away.
I don’t support or encourage suicide or cutting. I support the kids out there that feel so desperate/numb/powerless, that feel unseen and unheard, and can’t see another way.. I want them to know I’m aware. I have been there. I see them.
Last week Pink announced that she and husband Carey Hart are expecting their first child, and Sunday night she donned high-waisted Hammer pants and a black bra top for a performance of ‘Raise Your Glass’ at the AMAs.
The expectant mother avoided her usual gravity-defying acrobatics and rubbed her belly as she left the stage.
A source tells the new Us Weekly (on newsstands Wednesday) that the singer, 31, and husband Carey Hart, 35, are expecting their first child.
“She’s 12 weeks along,” says the insider. “She wanted to do it between tours, when she has some time off.”
The source adds that after the duo’s 2008 separation, “Pink was determined to make the relationship solid. Now she’s really happy, and she’s excited she got pregnant so fast! She’ll be a brilliant mother.”
And when Pink’s kid is born, it’ll need to be on it’s best behavior — the superstar thinks it’s important for parents to be tough on their children.
“I think parents need to beat the c**p outta their kids… I think the whole spanking thing and how it’s gotten all PC (politically correct) is for the birds,” she said.
“My dad put me through a wall; it’s the only reason I’m still alive.
“I deserved it. I would have kicked me out when I was eight… I was not comfortable with authority or rules. I was bad.”
As Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee continues to deal with the media whirlwind she created by outing her relationship with Jesse James, now there’s word that she bedded another married, tattooed, bady boy celebrity: Carey Hart. McGee’s ex-husband tells RadarOnline that the motocross champ turned reality star — who’s married to pop star Pink – reportedly had a fling with McGee before her trysts with James.
“I knew about her fling with Carey Hart, Michelle told me that she had slept with him,” Shane Modica, McGee’s former husband, tells Radar.
Modica goes on to say that despite any sexual adventures, McGee got upset that she and Hart “never got to spend as much time together as she expected too,” which led to some tension. Also creating some friction in a potential relationship was one of McGee’s friends, who Modica says was also “friendly” with Hart.
“It is so typical of Michelle because she always goes for the guy who she thinks has the deepest pockets. It’s horrible because she sleeps with anybody who she believes can help her out,” McGee’s ex says.
Pink admits she is an easy date – because she is impressed by beer and cheese.
The ‘So What’ singer went to see American punk band Bad Religion at The House of Blues in Los Angeles with her husband Carey Hart and on the way home the motocross racer made his wife’s day by treating her to a cheap snack.
She tweeted: “He (Carey) is so romantic. He just bought me a 24 oz Heineken in a can and a string cheese from 7-Eleven. I’m so lucky… Bad religion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)”
Although Pink, 30, and Carey enjoyed the gig, the 34-year-old racer admits he can longer party as hard as he used to.
He wrote on his twitter page: “Bad religion killing it at HOB in LA! 30 years strong! But man, Im old. I used 2 leave punk shows w/a bloody nose in my old van. Now I’m sober in a town car. (sic)”
