Miley Cyrus Has A New Fan And His Name is BILL MURRAY

Miley Cyrus wants to shelter her younger sister Noah

Yes, THIS Miley Cyrus.

Bill Murray has a Netflix Christmas special coming out called A Very Murray Christmas, and well howdy-doo it includes Lil’ Miley!

And while you’d think these two couldn’t be more different, at the film’s New York premiere, Murray gushed about the Wrecking Ball singer:

“It was stunning to work with her. All you hear, is … what you hear – and then you work with her and realize, ‘OH!’… She’s really a trooper. She came through in a huge way for us.”

And in an ultimate display of kinship, he said:

“If she asked me to push start her car, I would do it.”

He also dug Miley’s voice:

“When you hear her [on the radio] you go, ‘She’s not even really singing that, that’s all voice activated – it’s all tricked out.’ … None of that’s true. She’s really got it. She’s really got the pipes.”

Bill Murray has never seen Netflix!

Bill Murray has never seen Netflix!

Considering the time that we live in, you would think that everybody and their mother has seen something on Netflix and one time or another. Not Bill Murray, though. Despite making a Christmas special for Netflix, he’s never seen it.

In typically outré fashion, the comedy legend is making a holiday special for Netflix — “A Very Murray Christmas” — that will be directed by Sofia Coppola and feature an eclectic, star-studded cast including Amy Poehler, George Clooney and … Miley Cyrus?

Even weirder? Murray put this whole thing together even though he has never used Netflix in his life.

The actor appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday night — wearing, it must be said, a “Swan Lake” costume — and admitted that he doesn’t even really understand how Netflix works.

“I’ve never seen Netflix in my life,” Murray said. “I have no idea how to get it. And it’s unfortunate that I’ll never see this show.”

Is it that crazy that he’s never used Netflix or are we that involved in services like it?

Bill Murray Covers ‘Variety’; Talks Hatred For Famous Complainers

Bill Murray Covers 'Variety'; Talks Hatred For Famous Complainers

Legendary actor Bill Murray is featured on the cover of the latest issue of “Variety” magazine. He lays the verbal smackdown on those who are famous and complain about it in an interview with Howard Stern. God love this man! He also spoke on the topic of not finding the love of his life. From via Celebitchy:

On fame: “I do not like people that complain about being famous, but I say to people, ‘Hey, you want to be rich and famous? Try being rich, and see if that doesn’t cover most of it for you.’ You have a bunch of dough, you can be as kind as you want, and you can be invisible. No one has to know you have a bunch of dough, and you can behave any way you want. You can be a secret kind of person.”

On not finding the love of his life: “Well… I do think about that. I do think about that. I’m not sure when I’m getting done here. I have kids–I have children that I’m responsible for–and I enjoy that very much, and that wouldn’t have happened without women. I don’t think I’m lonely. It would be nice to go to some of these things and have a date, have someone to bring along. And to go play golf in Scotland, that would be fun. But there’s a lot that I’m not doing that I need to do–something like working on yourself, self-development, and becoming more connected to myself. I don’t have a problem connecting with people, my problem is connecting with myself. And if I’m not really committing myself really well to that, it’s sort of better that I don’t have another person. I can’t take on another relationship if I’m not taking care of the things I need to take care of the most. What stops us from looking at ourselves is that we’re kind of ugly if we look really hard; we’re not who we think we are, and we’re not as wonderful as we think we are.”

Bill Murray should be in every movie. EVERY ONE. That is all.

Bill Murray Will be the Voice of ‘Baloo’ in ‘The Jungle Book!’

Celebs Making An Appearance On The 'Late Show With David Letterman'

The honorable Bill Murray has played countless lovable roles in his long career – and he has just taken on one more – though it’s for a younger set than his usual fan base.  Jon Favreau will be directing a mixed live action and animated reboot of Disney’s The Jungle Book – which is set for release in Fall 2015.  Murray has signed on for the voice of the bear ‘Baloo.’  He joins an already star studded cast that includes Christopher Walken as ‘King Louie’ the orangutan, Scarlett Johansson will voice ‘Kaa’ the snake, Ben Kingsley will voice the panther, ‘Bagheera,’ Lupita Nyong’o as the wolf ‘Raksha’ and Idris Elba as the tiger ‘Shere Khan.’

Favreau was happy to announce Murray’s addition via Instagram:

Jon Favreau celebrated the casting news on Friday night by posting to Instagram a shot of Mowgli and Baloo from the 1967 film, along with a Caddyshack reference. “Looks like we cast our Baloo. So we have that going for us. Which is nice,” he wrote in the caption.

The Jungle Book is a fan favorite to countless people.  I hope they do the original justice – and maybe update some of less appropriate references!
