Bronx Wentz may only be 10 months old, but mom Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has already thought about his first date — and how she’ll handle it.

Husband Pete Wentz “is definitely over protective, I know that! And I’m definitely going to be lay the boundaries down,” Simpson-Wentz, 24, tells Rachael Ray in an interview that will air Sept. 15.

She admits she’d be tougher if she had a “little girl.

“It’s different for a girl than with a guy, so I think we’ll have to grow together and be able to lay the boundaries,” she says. “But with Bronx, there will be a curfew and all that.”

She doesn’t want him hitting up too clubs or getting in trouble.

“I don’t want him to grow up in the middle of Hollywood,” she says.

Simpson-Wentz reveals a few surprising details from her pregnancy to Ray as well.

“I could do the splits when I was nine months pregnant,” she says. “I could put my leg over my head still. I used to be a ballerina.”

She next appears as Violet, a new girl in town with a shady past, in the Melrose Place spinoff, which premieres Sept. 8 on the CW. Wentz doesn’t mind all her steamy makeout scenes, she says.

“He is so not a jealous person, and it’s work. It is what it is. And believe me, there’s some jaw droppers for Violet!” she says. “I’d rather be kissing my husband.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has waged war on Perez Hilton after he published a story alleging she started a drunken fight with her husband Pete Wentz.

The gossip-monger reported on Sunday that the pop star was involved in a public argument with the Fall Out Boy bassist at the one-year anniversary of his Chicago, Illinois bar, Angels & Kings.

Hilton cited multiple witnesses who informed him that Simpson-Wentz had been “completely wasted” when she approached her husband at the DJ booth, forcing him to leave his party.

In the entry, Hilton also asked, “Are they on the brink of divorce?”

But the 24 year old refused to allow the reports to go unaddressed, taking to her Twitter.com page to blast Hilton.

The singer first proved her affection for her husband by writing a personal message to him: “I had so much fun with ur (your) parents last night. Thanx (sic) for dedicating the DJ set to me. Love you more magic. I miss u (sic) already.”

She then directed notes at Hilton, ranting: “When all you do is make up untrue stories – look in the mirror. Do you even feel human? Karma is a b**ch. Your story is WAY off.”

Hilton then fired back his own defense, insisting, “I don’t wanna (sic) name names and get people fired but several of the people I spoke with work at Angels & Kings. I’m not wrong.”

But the singer had the last word in the matter, replying, “WRONG. My husband is an amazing DJ and was dedicating songs to me. We were just havin (sic) fun. Our love is amazing. Get ur (your) own life.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is in awe of sister Jessica, who was dumped by beau Tony Romo the night before her 29th birthday in July.

“I don’t think I’ve ever known anybody stronger than her,” Ashlee told Usmagazine.com Monday at the CBS, CW, CBS Television Studios & Showtime TCA party in Pasadena, Calif. “My sister is amazing. I spend so much time with her.”

Ashlee is currently gearing up for the fall premiere of her new CW show Melrose Place.

Balancing work and motherhood isn’t as tough as it seems, said the mother of 8-month-old son Bronx.

“It’s been good so far,” she said. “For me, I wanted to do something that’s a bit more stable, and it’s been that, which has been perfect. And we get to travel. We’ve been to Paris, Japan, everywhere with my son. And he’s so happy and healthy. I’m very fortunate he’s on a good schedule.”

She also said it’s been fun playing a vixen.

“She’s interesting. I think she’s creepy,” she told Us when asked to describe her character, Violet. “I think that she’s unaccepted and wants to be loved.”

Ashlee didn’t watch the original Fox series regularly, but said she’s “gone back and watched some of it [on DVD], and it’s great.”

Added Ashlee, “The fun thing about [the new show] is that hopefully people that watched it, and even watched the DVDs, will be into it because it brings the ‘oohs and aahs’ and the drama.”

Jessica Simpson hit the town in Hollywood Saturday night, dining at hotspot Katsuya with friends – including sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz – but one person was not there: Her ex John Mayer.

Contrary to reports circulating online that Mayer met up with Simpson at the restaurant, a source tells People he was never there Saturday. Instead, Mayer showed up at Katsuya on Sunday and had a guys’ night out.

Mayer and his three buddies drank whiskey neat and enjoyed crispy rice, spicy tuna, edamame and yellowtail with jalapeno, according to the source.

“I don’t know where this rumor got started,” added a source close to Simpson. “John was not at Katsuya with Jess.”

Mayer, 31, and Simpson, 29, have been in contact via text message since her split from NFL star Tony Romo, but, “they haven’t met up,” according to a Mayer source. “They’re friendly but that’s it.”

At Simpson’s dinner on Saturday one thing seemed apparent: She wasn’t mourning her split from Romo. “Jessica looked like she was having a good time with her friends,” says an onlooker. “She was all smiles and didn’t look like Tony was on her mind at all.”

Reps for both Simpson and Mayer had no comment.
