Anne Heche at the 35th Annual AFI Life Achievement Award, 6/7

Egad!

Anne Heche has fired back at estranged husband Coley Laffoon in their custody battle for 5-year-old son Homer. (If you missed what he said, go here!) Heche’s latest court papers deny Laffoon’s claim that he was a “stay-at-home dad.” Says Heche: “Coley does stay at home while I am working, but not to parent. He sends Homer to preschool and leaves him with nannies and baby-sitters while he [Coley] plays Ping Pong, backgammon and poker and views pornography online.” She adds that Laffoon bragged to her and her “Men in Trees” cast members “about going to strip clubs all day.” Over to you, Coley.
Someone read Anne Heche’s autobiography, Call Me Crazy, cover to cover.
Earlier this month, Heche’s estranged hubby, Coley Laffoon, filed court papers in which he expresses doubt as to whether she is “psychologically capable” of caring for their five-year-old son Homer and requests joint legal and primary physical custody of the boy, plus $33,000 a month in child support and no less than $15,000 in attorney fees.
Detailing myriad ways in which he has been the primary caregiver since Homer was born, Laffoon, 33, questions Heche’s ability to parent in the face of her “bizarre and delusional behavior” and asks that a psych evaluation “be commenced immediately.”
In documents filed May 2 in Los Angeles Superior Court and released Thursday, Laffoon cites an incident last September in which he and Homer were staying in Vancouver and Heche, 37, who was on her way back from New York and was supposed to change planes in Los Angeles, called him at about 11:30 p.m. sounding confused and said that she “didn’t know where she was and that she needed help.”
Because he was in Canada, Laffoon called Heche’s L.A. publicist and asked if she could go look for her. The publicist wasn’t able to find her, Laffoon states, but the next day Heche returned to Vancouver and acted as if nothing had happened.
Per the filing, Heche, who stars on the ABC series Men in Trees, makes about $81,000 per episode, so she should be well-equipped to meet his demands, which have been calculated according to the “marital standard of living” became accustomed to.
Heche fired back via a statement released by a spokesperson today, saying that Laffoon is going after her in court because she wouldn’t pay him the original $45,000 a month he had asked for.
BUT WAIT, IT’S NOT OVER! MORE AFTER THE JUMP!!! (more…)

My 2 cents?? (for what it’s worth)… Relationships based on adultery only have one way to go - and that’s down.
Actress Anne Heche has spoken out about her relationship with James Tupper - but has refused to confirm she is dating her Men In Trees co-star. Heche, 37, split from her husband of five years Coleman Laffoon earlier this month, and she has been linked to Tupper in the US media ever since. The 37-year-old admitted she has “chemistry” with Tupper on US TV show Entertainment Tonight yesterday. She said, “We have a beautiful relationship. I think people like to read a lot into the chemistry we have on the show, and I think it’s fantastic. We have a lot of chemistry. We love each other, we’re like a family here, we all go out on the weekends. I’m obviously going through something personal in my life, and I don’t know what is going to happen in the future.” A spokesperson for Tupper confirms he split from his wife Kate in November last year.
I say “hunk” cause I personally don’t think the guy is as hot as he’s made out to be.
Anne Heche has split from her cameraman husband Coley Laffoon, the star’s rep confirms.
The couple “have decided to separate after five years of marriage,” the actress’s rep said in a statement Wednesday. “They have requested that they be allowed their privacy at this time.”
Laffoon, 33, and Heche, 37, wed in 2001, and have a 4-year-old son, Homer.
Entertainment Tonight has reported that the Men in Trees actress is romantically involved with her costar, James Tupper. Heche’s rep had no comment on the relationship. Tupper split from his wife in November, according to ET.
Heche dated Ellen DeGeneres for several years before the couple broke up in 2000. In 2001, she published an autobiography, Call Me Crazy, in which she detailed her struggles with mental illness.
Anne was there promoting her new show, “Men in Trees” from the head writer of Sex and the City. For a pic of her new show - plus the synopsis…go here. (more…)
