Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has branded Anderson Cooper a “hypocritical idiot” after becoming involved in a war of words between his ex-wife Dina and the news anchor.
Celebrated CNN reporter Cooper took a swipe at the Mean Girls star’s younger sister Ali while hosting Live with Regis & Kelly on Tuesday.
The journalist branded Ali and Dina’s reality show, Living Lohan, a “train wreck”, before comparing the 14-year-old to a 60-year-old and a “striptease person”.
The comments infuriated mom Dina, who hit back at Cooper in OK! magazine, warning, “People are just cruel! This is bad karma for him.”
And now the teen’s dad Michael has also lashed out at the TV reporter, insisting he has no right to pass judgement on the Lohan family.
He tells America’s Access Hollywood, “I think Anderson Cooper is an opinionated, hypocritical idiot who should be an adult and keep his opinion to himself. He is the last person to judge anyone, when he and his own family have their own issues.”

On the finale of E!’s Living Lohan, cameras followed 14-year-old Ali Lohan as she went on an audition for the horror movie Trolls.
Unbeknownst to Ali, she auditioned for Peter Davy, director of such adult flicks as Voodoo Lust and Dreams in the Forbidden Zone, TMZ.com reported Wednesday.
“Ali obviously had no idea about Davy’s past,” her rep tells Usmagazine.com. “If she did know, she never would have auditioned for him.”
TMZ.com reports that Ali’s mom Dina “went nuclear” when she got word.
Ali hasn’t been quiet about her desire to be famous.
“I grew up watching Lindsay, and it made me want to do what she does,” she told Teen Vogue earlier this year. “Just the whole vibe. Being there, being on camera, or onstage, with everybody listening to you … it’s so cool when people look up to you.
“I want it so bad,” she said of fame. “So bad you don’t even know. And now, it’s actually happening. I’ve already been asked for my autograph, and it’s just a really good feeling to have.”

Samantha Ronson posted this, showing how upset she is that the media is torturing Ali Lohan, on her Myspace page:
i mean….. really?
ok- so i don’t make reference to most of the crap said but every now and then my patience wears a little bit thin—-
from page 6 today
ALI Lohan is trying to make it big with her new single, “All the Way Around,” but she’s not getting any help from her big sister’s girlfriend. Samantha Ronson, who’s been dating Lindsay Lohan for several months, refuses to play the single during her DJ gigs. When Ronson played the Sephora party at the Angel Orensanz Foundation last week, a spy said, “[Mom] Dina showed up with a copy of the song for Sam to play – but she refused. The song is really bad.”
1- I really like the song- as soon as her myspace page goes up it will be a song of the day-
2- the only person who showed up with a cd for me to play was my lil step brother chris- he is in my top friends- i played his song coz i like it
3- where do they come up with this sh*t????
4- the most pathetic thing of all is that richard johnson is an old friend of my mother’s and therefore could have easily fact checked this one….. however- it would seem that no one cares to do any of that anymore- in fact- i’m sure if i looked up the last 10 times my name appeared on that page i would find that none of it was true.
i wouldn’t be responding to this one- but i’m afraid that people might actually believe that and that’s not fair to Ali. She’s 14 years old- high school is bad enough- do tabloids really need to torture teenagers as well?
well then- with that out of the way- I hope you are all well and check out the single on itunes- it’s a great f***ing pop song!

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are friends and nothing more, Ali Lohan says.
While the Internet is abuzz with rumors of a romantic relationship between the actress and her DJ pal, who have been caught cuddling and with hickeys in France, Ali wants to set the record straight on behalf of her big sister.
“They’re best friends. They’re just friends,” she tells Extra. “It’s pathetic what people say.”
It’s stuff like this that you must learn to ignore, Lohan matriarch Dina adds. In the past year, the family weathered more negative press and speculation than ever, but it’s important to learn to “deal with it.”
“It’s so silly,” Dina says. “We actually laugh about it now. It really does hurt, but you develop a thick skin. You have to ignore it.”
The momager is currently molding a career for Ali, an aspiring singer. Their journey will be featured in their new E! reality series, Living Lohan, this summer.
Why do a reality show?
“To set the record straight as to who we are as people,” Dina says.
Adds 14-year-old Ali, “My mom is just a regular mom trying to help her kids follow their dreams.”

Ali is the 15 year old sister of Lindsay. I think Ali looks cute! A heck of a lot older than 15, but cute none-the-less.

Jealous students at the school Lindsay Lohan’s teenage sister Ali attends have been kicked out for posting vile comments about the family online.
Wannabe pop star Ali admits life at school is tough when you’re an aspiring singer and your big sister is a top actress. But she was stunned when so-called pals poked fun at her on community website YouTube.com.
She says, “A few girls got suspended in school because they did a video about me on YouTube or something and said stuff (that was) inappropriate. Bad stuff that if I ever said, my mother would kill me. “I was, like, really shocked because those girls, I thought they were my friends, but obviously you can’t trust anybody except your family.”

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has applauded his daughter’s decision to stay away from mom Dina’s new reality TV show – because the project won’t help her make it as a serious actress.
Lohan won’t appear in the new U.S. show, which will debut on the E! cable network this summer, and her dad is convinced that’s the right call.
The actress recently told Life + Style magazine, “I don’t know much about it (TV show).”
And Michael, who has reconciled with his famous daughter after a period of estrangement from the family, says, “If she did decide to make an appearance on the show, then I’m behind her. But she needs to decide if she’s a serious actress or a reality TV personality.”
Instead, the show will focus of mother, Dina’s efforts to turn the Mean Girls actress’ kid sister Ali into a star.
