Looking buffer than ever, 50 Cent is gearing up to launch his newest men’s fragrance, Power by Fifty Cent — and he’s giving People readers an exclusive sneak peek at the ultra-sexy new campaign.
“For me, power isn’t just something you learn on the street or in the boardroom — it’s a way of life,” says the rags-to-riches multiplatinum star.
So just what does Power smell like? The masculine fragrance mixes notes like lemon leaves, black pepper, coriander and nutmeg—which all adds up, according to 50, to a whiff of success. “I really wanted to bottle up the rush it gives you so my fans can make it a part of their lifestyle,” he explains in a release.
Power by Fifty Cent launches exclusively at Macy’s Nov. 5, with prices ranging from $50.50 (for a 1.7 oz. eau de toilette) to $68.50 (for a two-piece gift set of eau de toilette and after shave.)

50 Cent is now allowed to spend weekends with his 11-year-old son, after scoring a court victory in his ongoing custody battle with ex-lover Shaniqua Tompkins.
On Monday, New York judge David Freundlich ruled the star can spend alternate weekends with Marquise.
The delighted rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, told reporters outside court in Central Islip, New York, “I’m happy. I get a chance to see him.”
Tompkins is unhappy with the verdict, insisting two weekends per month is too much. After the ruling, she said, “My son doesn’t want every other weekend.”
The pair’s long battle over Marquise intensified in May when Tompkins’ New York home, which was owned by 50 Cent, was destroyed by a fire. Tompkins and Marquise were inside the building when the blaze took place, and she later claimed the star was responsible – a charge he has denied.
The rapper recently spent 10 days with his son at his sprawling Connecticut mansion before heading overseas to shoot a new movie. The move came after 50 Cent and Tompkins reached a temporary custody agreement.

50 Cent has defended his child custody requests, insisting he only wants visitation ever other weekend because he wants minimum disruption to his son’s education.
The In Da Club hitmaker has been embroiled in a legal battle with his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins over custody of 11-year-old Marquise for months, and now the former couple’s legal spat will go before a judge on Monday.
50 Cent was reunited with Marquise last month after he accused Tompkins of “kidnapping” their son following a devastating fire at her New York home in May.
The star, who lives in Connecticut, has since been criticized for his request to spend just two weekends a month with Marquise – but the rapper insists he’s simply taking his kid’s schooling seriously.
50 Cent’s lawyer Brett Kimmel claims his client is also seeking access during school holidays and a month in the summer.
Kimmel tells website TMZ.com the custody request “maximizes the time the child can spend with his father while remaining sensitive to the child’s own schedule”.

50 Cent has denied reports he has attempted to “stall” the police investigation into a suspicious fire at his New York home.
The New York Post reported on Thursday that authorities were frustrated over the rapper’s lack of cooperation in the case.
But the star’s representatives insist 50 Cent has been compliant with the ongoing inquiry.
A statement reads: “50 and his attorneys met yesterday with Suffolk County authorities regarding the fire that destroyed 50’s house. The meeting had been arranged weeks ago. 50 is eager to review the findings of the investigation, when it is concluded.”
The In Da Club hitmaker’s 11-year-old son Marquise and his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, were in the Long Island mansion when the blaze broke out.
Tompkins has accused 50 Cent, who was in Louisiana filming a movie at the time, of arson.

50 Cent may be headed for some hot water.
The investigation into a “suspicious” fire that destroyed his Long Island mansion is being delayed because Fiddy hasn’t met with investigators yet.
A fire official told ABC News that after several attempts by the fire squad to meet with 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, the rapper has not scheduled an interview.
“We interview every owner of every structure that goes on fire,” the official reported. “It’s standard procedure.”
The star’s former girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, and young son had been living in the multi-million dollar estate which burned down in late May.
Jackson was reportedly trying to evict Tompkins and his son, 10, in their bitter break-up.
Though there is no deadline for the interview, sources have reported that 50’s input is crucial to the investigation moving on. He has been spotted partying in the past few months in New York.
50’s attorney, Brett Kimmel has not made a statement regarding the issue.

50 Cent has been reunited with his son Marquise after claiming the boy’s mother had “kidnapped” him.
The hitmaker recently blasted ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins for taking off with their 11-year-old child after her New York home was destroyed by a fire in May.
50 Cent recently told Sister 2 Sister magazine, “They done kidnapped my first one (son). My son’s mother got him, holding him hostage.”
But the rapper finally caught up with his son over the weekend after he and his bitter ex agreed on a temporary custody deal.
According to sources, 50 Cent will get to spend 10 days with his son at his sprawling Connecticut home before he leaves the U.S. to film a movie overseas.
