Sure, Jenna Dewan Tatum. SUUUUURE.
Lady has it all: an exciting career, inner and outer beauty and a husband whose abs won’t QUIT (Channing Tatum. Heard of him?) But the dancer turned actress tellsÃÂ Women’s HeathÃÂ that on the whole, her her life is actually pretty average.
ââ¬ÅInstagram is just a highlight reelââ¬Â¦Ã¢â¬Â she tells Dibs Baer in the July/August issue of Women’s Health. ââ¬ÅTen percent of the time, Chan and I have a lot of fun. Ninety percent, weââ¬â¢re really boring.ââ¬Â
After the duoââ¬â¢s hilarious performances on Lip Sync Battle back in January, they were informally crowned the King and Queen of Hollywood. But according to 35-year-old Jenna, perfection at this stage in her life is overrated. ââ¬ÅI realized that if you try to be the perfect mom, perfect wife, perfect actress, you start to feel overwhelmed,ââ¬Â she says. ââ¬ÅYou shut down. I got that really fastââ¬Â¦I was running back and forth from breast-feeding to filming a scene, overextending myself on every level. I realized I have to make priorities, and my family is number one no matter what.ââ¬Â
That isnââ¬â¢t to say the actress doesnââ¬â¢t believe in ââ¬Åhaving it all.ââ¬Â Eventually, Jenna found ways to work herself into that priorities list. ââ¬ÅYou have to be fulfilled in order for everyone else to be fulfilled,ââ¬Â she says. ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢m a wayàhappier, more pleasant person to be around when I take time for myself.”
