Emma Roberts & Evan Peters Out And About In NYC

And they’re…Off.

Emma Roberts and Evan Peters have broken up again. But will it be for good?

Several insiders tell Us that the split was amicable, after they gave it another go and reunited in August. The two were engaged on Christmas of 2013 but called it off in June of last year. It’s a real patchwork romance, isn’t it? Yes, I’m confused. But also kind of sad, as their origin story is kinda cute…

The two started dating in spring 2012 after meeting on the set of their film Adult World. “Everyone thought we dated on the movie and we didn’t, not for a long time,” Roberts said during a 2014 interview on Chelsea Lately. “I actually, on the set, was like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re totally gonna date.’ And I would try to, like, flirt with him, which ended up looking like I had something in my eye because I’d be like, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ And he literally didn’t speak to me the entire movie. He thought I was so weird.”

The pair made their red carpet debut at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards in January 2013. The X-Men: Apocalypse actor also met the actress’ famous aunt, Julia Roberts, that same weekend when the couple ran into the Oscar winner at the Help Haiti Home Gala in Beverly Hills. (Emma’s father is fellow Hollywood actor Eric Roberts, Julia’s older brother.)

Julia gave Evan a big hug while shaking his hand,” an eyewitness told Us at the time.

Emma previously dated Alex Pettyfer and Chord Overstreet…and this has been a pretty long on-again, off-again, and she’s only 25. I feel like they’ll probably make a go of it one more time, and then they’ll be through. 2017?

Do YOU think this couple is really over? Weigh in below!
