Maybe it really IS too late to say sorry.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been skirting around the fact that they both still like each other: Selena showed up at Justin’s concert at the Staples Center, days after Justin busted out some old pics of the two of them from when they were together years ago.

And as it turns out, Justin wants to  take this dance a step further…because he was  planning on setting up a MASSIVE date night with his former flame after she stopped by his Purpose World Tour last week. E! News reports:

“Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of Titanic for Selena because he is trying to get back with her.”

But, the Biebs ended up calling off the whole thing. Cold feet? The wrath of Hailey Baldwin? The insider continued:

“I don’t know why he didn’t go through with it, and I also don’t know if he ever even told Selena about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again. He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started.”

The singer reportedly left his own show 20 minutes early to drop off the brunette beauty, which might be why the thing was called off.

“The speculation is that an argument had taken place between the two before the show since he cancelled the date plans. Something had shifted Bieber’s mood completely.”

WEIRD.

What do YOU think is gonna happen with these two? I LOVE THE DRAMA.
