Yes, after all the messy break-uppage Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck seem to remain on I guess okay terms.
At one point, the Benster was living in a guest house on the property and then I guess renting Brooke Shieldsââ¬â¢ mansion down the street and now, back, punctuated by a couple familial jaunts to the family place in Montana. Well there was a subtle shift in this narrative recently: Ben is now staying the room next door to Jen. Now thereââ¬â¢s yet another ââ¬Åhow theyââ¬â¢re doingââ¬Â story in E! and itââ¬â¢s reinforcing that everything’s okay, breathe, they’re living together, and I guess it works. Yes, breathe again:
ââ¬ÅThey will continue to live in the house together and have no plans to change that arrangement,ââ¬Â a source told E! News exclusively.
ââ¬ÅThey are in a really good place right now,ââ¬Â the source said. ââ¬ÅA lot of the dust has settled and they have become accustomed to their new life, which is separate but together in a lot of ways. They continue to make the family their first priority and they have always been on the same page about that.ââ¬Â
A month after Affleck and Garnerââ¬â¢s breakup announcement, the actor was linked to his childrenââ¬â¢s 28-year-old nanny. He has denied anything romantic went on between them. She no longer works for the family. Garner recently broke her silence on the split and the nanny in a bombshell interview with Vanity Fair.
ââ¬ÅWe had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,ââ¬Â the actress said. ââ¬ÅShe had nothing to do with our decision to divorce.ââ¬Â
ââ¬ÅNow that the Vanity Fair article is out, neither of them feel the need to talk about the past or the divorce,ââ¬Â the source told E! News. ââ¬ÅThey feel like everything has been answered and they just want to move forward. There is a lot of love between them. They donââ¬â¢t know exactly what itââ¬â¢s going to look like, but for now what they are doing is working for the family.ââ¬Â
Sure, they’re “trading off with the kids,ââ¬Â but I wonder if this divorce is going to go through ASAP or if they’ll live in a state of limbo and then…who knows. All this non-divorce divorce has a sister (me) CONFUSED.
Do you think they’ll reconcile?
