In hindsight, “Unbreakable” seems like a poor choice of names, doesn’t it?
After postponing most of the North American leg of her Unbreakable World Tour, now Janet Jackson‘s straight up cancelling four upcoming shows in the UK.
The 49-year-old has constantly been denying rumors that cancer was the reason for the original date changes, saying that the shows were changed due to “scheduling conflicts.” But now these cancellations are pretty much just adding fuel to the fire.
Ticketmaster confirmed the cancellations in Birmingham, London, Glasow, and Manchester in an email to fans Tuesday morning, saying:
“It is not possible to confirm new dates at the present time so we are refunding all ticket holders.”
Good to get one’s money back, but bad that this message pretty much admits she’s not paying her European fans a visit anytime soon. In general, it’s hard to know what will happen- if this is just a precursor to her cancelling the rest of the tour, or if she’ll get back on track…
Why do YOU think Janet’s cancelling these dates?
